Have you started dress shopping yet? I only ask because some wedding dresses take about 3 months to come in after they''re ordered.

BrightS, I can''t really see him waiting. He''d better not! He''s knows I''m anxious for this

I haven''t started dress shopping yet. I''m planning on just finding something off the rack. I actually went dress shopping with my sister a couple months ago for her wedding and she was trying on dresses off the rack and I saw several that were lovely! So I''m hopeful to go back and try those on. I''m crossing my fingers hoping I''m successful

Ya, actually there is a store with a huge selection nearby. That''s where we found my sister''s dress. We were really lucky to find her''s so quickly there because she had to have it in 1 month!

I don''t know when I"ll go. My mom is coming home tomorrow. I''ve been a chicken to go alone, so *perhaps* we''ll go this weekend. Good luck, Fisher! I hope you have a great time and find your perfect dress

I can''t wait to see your ring, sunkist. I really like the Lockes setting and your stone is going to be gorgeous in it!

It would probably be best to have someone with you for dress shopping. I went alone once and with the salesladies being either busy or nonexistent, it was hard for me to get in and out of the gowns by myself. I also couldn''t get pictures of myself very well once I got dresses on. It''s way easier and much more fun to bring a friend or relative IMHO.

How exciting! There are lots of fabulous off-the-rack dresses at bridal salons, not to mention all of the wedding dresses that have been popping up at J. Crew, Nordstroms, etc., lately. How formal is your wedding? How fun to go shopping with your mom this weekend.

Good luck! It sure would be nice if you posted pics of your findings for us, you know, to tide us over until we can ogle your ring pics...
