That Scintillating is a STEALTHY one! I thought I had WORN zappos on out ... how did I not SEE these? Turns out they don''t come up in "silver" or "pewter" searches because they are, get this, "CHROME"??

Here''s what I tell my FI...If I can wear them after the wedding, then they shouldn''t have to come out of the wedding budget!

I just got these from Zappos after seeing them in a knot bio. The ones in the bio were light blue, but the closest they had was silver. I thought from the pics that they would be a matte grey/silver, but they got here and they are really sparkly! Definitely won''t go with the dress, so I was planning on sending them back, because they were $70 and I wasn''t sure I would wear them. But FI took the box out to the trash (I didn''t realize he had) and the invoice was in the box!

So now I have to figure out where to wear them -- multiple times.

Why did I ever stray from the t-strap dream?! I should have known better!

Darn it! I missed all the shoe drama!! Stupid Dr. appointment!

Deco- I think you made a great decision. I'm pretty sure I friend of mine has those in gold mules, and they are killer.

FYI- I tried on the gazebos in person at Filene's last weekend, and let's just say there was serious toe cleavage, if you're picky about that kind of thing. Also, did I already post the site for great shoes over size 8? And this one this one lets you search by color or size?

I saw those on Indiebride too ... lots of gals were raving about them! I don''t blame you for getting caught in the madness!

Speaking of T-straps ... I saw my too spiky heel fave, the Eileen Shields "Bea" shoe over on her site at a way, way reduced price! Way lower than Girlshop has them. Just an FYI in case you''re back on the t-strap trail. Those dance shoes (Supradance??) could work too!

Firegoddess -- no luck on the DSW front so far .. there''s one about a half hour from here I might try though ... just in case. I went to two malls when I was down in Virginia and turned up nada there too.
