Yes, directly with them and they were fantastic. I'm planning a second project for some loose stones as well with them too.

Playing around with bands. I like these with it. I ordered an almost 3 mm plain yellow band from Pawn America because I think a wider high polished may look nice. I have a plain rose band but it's a bit tight for stacking with the width of this setting. The skinny band doesn't look as nice to me.



With the plain Tiffany band that's a bit too tight. That band is great for a setting that's not as wide. So hopefully the new band coming works. This is a wider band than I normally wear.

Love this bolder look. Back in like 2007 this was the look! Were you around here then? Everyone had the vatche and the sholdt with these wide, fluid, rounded shanks. I veered to antique styles with everyone else but this bolder look is so timeless. I agree that a wider band is needed to balance the heft of the solitaire.

And this is reminding me as well to keep my promise to myself and finally get a wedding band for myself this Christmas. I haven’t worn a wedding ring in at least a decade, I just wear my three stone or nothing at all. But I was playing around and paired a plain 3mm band with my ering and I really liked how substantial it felt. Screaming “maaaaried!!” after all these years lol
