Cool! I'm glad this thread was bumped since I posted it back in Nov to try to convince myself not to buy something. That didn't work out too well. :lol:

Not doing a very good job hiding double chin :cry2:
Have never worn this Karen Walker necklase before today.
Unfortunatly i have a few pieces of her's and the ring is way too small and so are the earings (two different problems)
I didn't have the alpaca thingy on at the shop - it wasn't that cold out and about and a lady in the queue with me commented how much she liked it
(That never usually happens)

Tiny little peridot gold studs
never worn before
got them to match some dangles but they were in silver
Almost scraped them last year but they were so tiny didn't bother
Found them the other day in a box with the dangles (never worn either) in my sox drawer
Photo doesn't show the colour but the important thing is they are out of the drawer and on my ears !

I looked through my collection and wore all of these out to dinner the other night! The 22k beads were wrapped around my wrist as a bracelet. I wore three necklaces around my neck. :razz: I also had my (platinum) solitaire with 24k thin band, not pictured here.

Funny you mention "jewelry diving" for ancient treasures.
I just pulled out this relic from high school in the past week and have been wearing it on the opposite wrist to my new YG bangle watch. I rather like it! :love:

Glad this thread has been given oxygen! I wore my SOC & LK pearl earrings yesterday--bought in 2012! I posted them in the pearl thread. Gosh I've missed them!

From the bowels of my bulging jewelry hoard, I dug up this old rainbow gem ring.
I bought it back in 1988 from the home shopping channel! Rainbow jewelry was all the rage then.
It's sterling, set with the usual suspects.
I haven't worn it for probably 15 years.

Rainbow jewelry is currently in fashion! I see a lot of people wearing it here in Houston, especially for pride month. Though I bet back in '88 it wasn't celebrating the same thing it does today.

Those earrings are fabulous! They deserve to be resurrected. How fun you wore them yesterday.:D

i think if the stars a-line you will find a rainbow bracelet poking around a pawn shop or another of your many haunts sooner or latter
