our lady boss is taking us out for morning tea tomorrow for Christmas
im thinking of wearing a few things that have never been out
our dear late sweet much missed Borris is modeling

this was in mum's stuff, i think it would have belonged to or were given by great Aunty Neeta who had traveled to the far east

i can see why no one wore it for 50 years
it was a total b*tch to do up, i completly gave up with trying to get it on right way up and swapped writs and had to use cellotape
(swapping wrist ment that my silver cuff dug into my other wrist and left a sore bit)

but to be fare to the jade bracelet, goodness knows how long it was broken for before i had it fixed
may have been the first time it was worn in 50 years

lovely and light to wear
i feel like it needs a good clean but its so delicate, im gently using a silver cloth

also i wore my Micheal Hill (NZ mall jeweller) diamond studs, i did suffer from severe DSS but this time it had been so long since i wore them i was quite happy by the size, infact i didnt realize for a few hours these were my 2nd sized pair !
