Should I be concerned with this inclusion? Please advise

I have fallen in love with this diamond - simply because I truly love the way it looks and it fits my (his) budget. I am not looking for a perfect diamond, I just want it to look beautiful to the average person with no seriously obvious flaws. The GIA report shows a strange looking inclusion that I'm not sure what to make of. I included the plot as well as an up close photo of that area of the stone, I can see something going on there, but its not bothering me. Just want to clarify with those who have a lot more knowledge if this inclusion is a big issue. Personally I don't think it would be a deal breaker for me unless it could get worse or affect the structural integrity of the stone (if that's even possible)? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Diamond is graded VS2 by the way.inclusion.pnginclusion_2.png

Hi GV,

I am only speculating here as I am not a gemologist and I can only see a small area of the stone, but I would imagine that's the feather inclusion looking at the clarity map, it's highly unlikely you would have a durability problem in VS2 clarity. Many congratulations on finding your diamond!

It is a GIA report with a VS2 clarity. This will not be a problem for appearance or durability - enjoy your diamond!

That said, you should always insure any diamond against loss or damage.

Thanks so much! I started reading that feathers at the edge can be a problem, but you have calmed my anxiety!

Very cool and thanks Hawk for chiming in! :wavey:
