Beautiful - tell us about the carat weight and metal you chose!
Beautiful - tell us about the carat weight and metal you chose!
I have no idea what carats they are or colours or anything, really, as they were gifted to me by my DH And he has a policy that you're only supposed to judge things on how you like them so refuses to answer anything as to price etc.
But I surely do enjoy the amazing sparkle! All I know is that they came from Tiffany's. They are just such fun sparkly, little things!
Took some photos today at lunch when everybody excused themselves. Only of my left hand
Just some spontaneous ring photos from today. Please ignore porky fingers! Huh!
The ring isn't all that big either. Maybe I have abused the zoom function a bit too much!
I know people care about carat weight, color of the diamond, clarity etc. but those technical parameters honestly mean nothing to me. I just love so much that my ring "dances with the fire" - as I would put it I truly love the effect and would not exchange it for the purest, bets cut, bet color (in technical terms) ring on earth! I can be amused for hours on end looking at sparkly things
Beautiful! I'd love to see the clasps on these ~ tiffany tennis bracelets are just amazing
The clasps looks like flowers, with Marquise cut diamonds as petals.
Really cute! And it looks lovely on your wrist!

After you've said it about the prongs I had to go and look at the prongs on my bracelets too I guess they are three prongs too
It looks beautiful! Would love to see more pictures!
Beautiful! It’s such a nice size!
Thank you, @diamondseeker2006 ! I was going back and forth on size - I was thinking 5 to 6 ctw, but my DH preferred the look of 7 to 8 ctw, so I didn't fight him lol...
Please excuse the blurry pajama look.
It is really pretty! It is the three prong setting?
At 7.59 carats and 44 stones they must be about .17 carats each. Just trying to figure out the math - if I wanted 6.5 inches, that would probably take three stones and half carat weight off which would be about 7 carats. I keep looking and trying to decide - hard decision. Yours is made though and looks wonderful!!
Wow. I can’t even imagine 7.5 carats. That’s gorgeous! Looks great with your VCA.
Thank you! It's actually 7.50, not 7.59, and yes three prongs. I couldn't decide on ctw and kept looking for ages too, that's why I finally tried to make my DH have an opinion about it, lol. We went to try on various sizes, settings, etc. at IDJ and they showed me one that had been made for someone else and it looked perfect, so we ordered one just like it. It took them 2 weeks and I am thrilled with it!
I tried to take a close up, sorry it's blurry:

They are so pretty and sparkly. Since you said they are from Tiffany I looked up their carat weights. Online I see three sizes too. 3.08, 4.49 and 6.53. Of course if you had them shortened then those carat weights would be off. How lovely to have all three sizes to choose from.
Thanks! I have not shortened any of them because I prefer my bracelets dangling and moving freely around my (not so thin! ) wrist.
I actually found out the carat numbers the other day since I was looking for some other options as far as my Victoria bracelet goes (not shown on the picture). So, for the bracelets on the picture above, the records show following carat weights:
8.48 carat
6.5 carat
4.5 carat
To me, they all just sparkle super prettily! The size of jewerly only matters as far as the body shape and proportions go. Bigger pieces simply look better on my frame
Your new bracelet is GORGEOUS!!!! Yay! Super happy for you! (And it looks killer with your lovely VCA too -- a dream stack!)
It looks gorgeous and the perfect size on you! I love your stack as well!
