Show me the Bling - the Laboratory Grown version!

Beautiful, could you do a face on photo? I’ve never heard of that cut!

It's spelled mazarin, without the e (autocorrect). It's a very rare cut from the 1700s. It is similar to an asscher or emerald cut as in it has the "steps", but it is cushion shaped. I had it custom cut. Here is a face on pic and a pic before it was mounted.Screenshot_20200824-080604.pngScreenshot_20210309-221103.png

Just received my 1.66ctw G SI1 studs from James Allen! I’m in love. This is my 3rd pair, previous 2 pairs were preset in 4 prongs, but this is custom selected (both diamond .83ct, G SI1 ideal) and set in 14 kt 6-prong white gold scallop setting. 435F1C4A-1286-478B-9ED2-88C10A8ED311.jpeg

Very very beautiful! I might need some input from you if I go ahead with a pair of lab diamonds studs ;)2

I posted this in another thread, but thought I'd share here as well. This is my first lab diamond purchase. I'm keeping the ring on the left, because the other diamond was a bit too orange for me. Specs: 1.50ctw, white diamonds are near colorless, VS1 to SI1, the center diamond is VS1. The photo isn't great, but in real life it sparkles like crazy. I'm sure there's better out there, but I'm pretty20210312_151211.jpg happy with it.

I'm also new here (sort of...long time member, but never really posted). I'm a diamond lover, and I've come to appreciate lab grown stones - so much nicer for the budget! I have a small collection of pieces for your viewing pleasure...

This was my first piece - a fancy light blue grey lab grown diamond, 3/4 carat, sourced from Joseph Schubach (thanks again, Margie!) The setting was done by David Klass, in rose and white gold, with a treated pink diamond halo, and this is their photo.

I purchased this lab grown oval eternity ring on LT - I believe it's originally from Ouros Jewelers on Etsy, and it's around 3.4ctw. This one is fun, because some of the stones exhibit quite strong phosphorescence in shades of white and orange!

The ring here is another LT purchase. The center is a gorgeous lab grown radiant diamond, and the setting looks to be another Ouros setting, though I'm not 100% sure. The studs are lab grown, from Ritani, and they are L color, sold as ideal cut, .73 and .74 carats. There's a slight color mismatch - both have a brown tint, which is what I wanted, but one is darker for sure. I may purchase a third L colored single stud to see if I can get a better match, and do something with the odd one out...

A fun ring created for me by Jo of Instagram's Sensible Splendor. This is (IIRC) a .44 H colored ideal round lab grown diamond, and a vivid orangy-yellow heart shape, also lab grown. I sent her a terrible sketch that I drew on my phone with my stylus, and her bench jeweler knocked it out of the park! The ring is yellow gold, except for the basket holding the round.

Thanks for letting me share with you! I love seeing all the beautiful eye candy here!

I just got my diamond reset! I’m so happy with it. 1.2 ct size 7 finger
I was worried it would be too low and “squatty” looking, but I am already used to it and I LOVE the 8 prongs!

I need to update this. WhatI loved at first, quickly became bothersome to me: those big CHONK prongs lol after a few weeks all I could focus on when I looked at this ring was prongs. It really got in the way of me enjoying my diamond. So I stopped wearing it and started looking for a new setting ( again) I jsut couldn’t justify it though as tidiness already setting #2 in less than a year. I took a chance and emailed David Klass. I asked if he would consider modifying the prongs for me, to my delight he said yes! And I sent my ring off! I just got it back this week and I’m so so happy! I am trying to get better photos but now I can say the focus is on the diamond and not overwhelmed with thick bulky prongs it’s just so delicate looking now and I had to share

TLDR: I had my thick prongs modified into beautiful tapered claw prongs by David Klass and I’m delighted!3F8527F7-D7ED-4D5B-82F9-D3852085F544.jpegEE56C0F4-22AB-4DD0-A074-38A83AB99823.jpeg

Ugh Please excuse my typos and fast typing

I just bought this from Ouros. 2mm bezels in 10k in size 7.
The diamonds are bright and fiery. The gold work is fine for the price. An inexpensive stack ring with very nice, clean, bright diamonds. Shown with my "L" 1.29 diamond solitaire in 18k. The golds work fine together.

It looks beautiful. The prongs were so nicely re-done!

Your whole set is very beautiful! Sometimes I wish I could have a 2nd set in yellow gold. It just looks so classic

Beautiful collection !! I need an eternity ring like that!!!

This is my lab rose cut. She’s a 1.3 carat E VS2 (I think, can’t quite remember about the clarity and am on vacation). Setting is a Spring Gulch halo in 18k with a platinum bezel and round diamonds. It is beautifully done and so easy to wear. She’s 8mm before the halo so has a lot of presence. This was a personal piece of Caysie’s. I always wanted to try a large rosie but was hesitant to pay mined diamond pricing for a cut I wasn’t sure I would like, so I jumped when I saw this on LT. I looove it. This stone has rainbows! I am surprised at how much I wear her and at how. I’ve been wearing her as an alternate ER.

Caysie was involved in the cutting of the stone so it has a excellent cut. This to me is the big deal about lab stones—trying to ensure they are cut super well. I would love to see more AV branded cuts in lab stones.

How beautiful and I've never seen that kind of design before. I love the vintage vibes from it. Truly beautiful!

Beautiful collection !! I need an eternity ring like that!!!

Thank you so much for saying so!

I will say, it's a gorgeous ring- but in this era of constant washing and hand sanitizing, it's very easy for it to get dirty due to the full eternity style. That's my only real complaint about it, though :)

I've been enjoying my new reset for a couple of weeks now -- 1.67ct E SI2 found through Distinctive Gem, set in my 6-prong Tiffany style solitaire by David Klass (previously held a 2ct moissanite). Going to start a separate thread with tons of pics

My pink pear ring from DBL arrived today. I LOVE it! It sparkles like crazy, and the pinks are lovely! David was wonderful, too! Center pink measures approx 7x5, and with the halos it's big and perfect!

Great find! At that price you can’t afford not to buy it!
