Show me your brown diamonds! If your certificate has brown on it, it goes here!!

Somewhere deep in the archives, I have a little rings thread. You should add your little rings to it.

I'll look for that this weekend. :)

Thank you!

Thanks! I found it on James Allen & took a chance on it because it was less than $400 & looked to be what I wanted. When it came with the paper I was happily surprised to see it was a faint brown. I picked it because of the body color hoping for brown undertones & it paid off!

This is what it looked like on James Allen:

Love the hearts & the princess ring in your avatar!

Adding my new little brown cushion to the thread. 1.06 ct, intense brown according to the IGL certificate. Not sure if the IGL certificate is worth much, but I’m quite happy with the stone. I think it needs to be In rose gold. F26A93EA-87C9-44A3-9933-D3745EA922A4.jpeg07B9FE2F-4FAC-4C91-AE01-86495C948766.jpeg36C43DF1-BC88-48F5-BD73-2D86AB013E78.jpeg

Just gorgeous! I can’t wait to see the setting you choose!

I got a loose .38 K faint brown heart for Christmas. I’m curious to see if it’ll show much color when it’s set.

(@Mamabean, I wanted to let you know A sent you a thank you to your PA address )

Oooh I love heart shaped diamonds! How many mms is this at the widest point in diameter?

Uncertified but Ilya at Ivy and Rose graded this C4-C5. It’s impossible to capture the color correctly on my iPhone camera. It’s like an orangey yellow with a pink tint to it. I absolutely love it and it compliments my grandmother’s wedding band perfectly. Here with this ol' photo -- I promise I'll start a thread when I'm ready to set her! Far right is a 1.79ct M (brown) VS2 AVR, next to an EGL I tranny and a grubby J emerald cut. :)

I recently had this little heart set in a rose gold bezel ring. I’m obsessed with trying to capture the colors I see in real life. It’s pretty subtle, obviously as a K, faint brown, but it looks different in every lighting! Sometimes bright and white, sometimes more steely, and when the natural sunlight hits it just right a bit of a pale pink ❤️
Probably it’s truest color is shown when it’s next to the G diamonds in the five stone.

Thanks for the opportunity to take this out of the closet. I got it like maybe 15 years ago? I don’t remember when. I don’t even remember if I bought it or my mom did... she was there for the purchase. The memory is nice because she passed away in 2019 and I miss jewelry shopping with her. The ring is from Kohl’s and cost maybe $100. It’s actually kind of a nice t-shirt-and-jeans ring that I used to wear more often. Has an antique vibe.

What a great thread! Here is my 3.1 antique oval brilliant. K color with faint brown. I find that the brown is a great modifier color and my eyes rarely see "brown." DK's professional pics show the brown more at the last photo. 83011801-82D3-46F7-A13E-7A1DFA461FDF.JPGA61C4F9D-C360-4A3B-B39E-31CB8AD3317C.JPGIMG-0411.PNG

What a stunning ring! The color is just beautiful ❤️

Oh, I remembered another ring that has brown on the cert! :) This is a 3.02 fancy brownish yellow. David Klass made the setting and I can switch it from a standard N/S style setting to an E/W style. We came up with the design together and I love this ring.
