Thank you, @yssie ! I've been reading your pearl posts for a while, and they were a big part of what got me interested in pearls and motivated to reach out to Andrew for help finding a pair of studs

The lashes are Lashify -- I am obsessed with the company's products, and doing my lashes is the one primping I still indulge in even though I'm mostly at home now. It's so quick and easy, and makes me feel put together even if I can't be bothered with makeup or putting on grown-up clothes.

You look beautiful. The pearls are lovely, but you look really radiant. A recent thread had another beautiful, happy bride and I cannot tell you how much happy brides warm the soul in these dark days. Thank you so much for sharing the photos. I do love baroque Akoya pearls too. The earrings have nice, substantial findings.

Thank you for your kind words, they seriously warmed my heart - we were so happy to have something to cherish in this strange and difficult year. It was a blessing and many people in the town pitched in to help <3 it wasn't the wedding we planned originally but we had the best day - it even started pouring rain, and with everything else that had "gone wrong" on paper we just rolled with it and had a blast



And now I have those special pearls to remember it by!

Well, after 35 days in transit my Pearl Paradise Hanadama studs have finally made it home! I’m very pleased with them, the lustre is great and I can see reflections on the surface. They are a bit more “pink” than I had expected, but they look lovely on the ear. Very difficult to photograph with my iPhone but here’s a pic anyway,

Thank you, @lissyflo! PP do 2 different international post services, I picked the cheapest as it was essentially free with my Pearl points. That one is via USPS and says it should take 2-3 weeks. The sticking point was in the U.K., they spent about a week in customs then it took ages for Royal Mail to tell me about the customs charge. Anyway, they got here!

Thank you, @yssie, sadly it’s one of the hazards of buying from overseas and being too penny pinching to pay for FedEx . Might try to get some earshots later but pearls are so hard to photograph!

My blue Akoya pearl necklace and bracelet from PP.

I ordered a 16" and 18" 8.0-8.5 mm necklace and had a 22" necklace and 8" bracelet made with WG orbit clasps. The necklace has the large orbit clasp and the bracelet has the smaller orbit. I am very pleased with these. I also have 11 leftover blue Akoyas and have plans to add that to a strand of big chonk blue fireballs.
