Was out shopping for watches for the husband today and saw this beauty. JB Star 3+ Carat paraiba, paraibas also on the shank. They wanted $99,000.

wow.thank you for sharing.

Sold to me as copper bearing - I never had it tested. It's included but can be a glow ball in the correct lighting.

I've shared this before, but it's been awhile. Another included stone but pretty IMHO.

The pink one glows sometimes, but I don't think it's copper bearing.

Such amazing colors. So happy to see them all.
Here is a great article I have found on copper bearing tourmaline with wonderful pictures. I have two cuprian tourmaline stones (set into rings) the color of the deep blue stone called "Heitoritapura". I treasure them because they are unheated blue. They are not glowy or that lighter turquoise blue but are very rare.

Hope the link works.

Here is mine.

Here's mine. Mozambique cuprian 2ct with pink sapphire halo.

It looks terrible. You should send it to me and let me take care of that problem  :lickout: :cheeky:

I'll make it simple - I'll take the whole package, please. The ring, the nails, the hands. I will be all set then. :praise:

Haha, I know, it's such a hideous stone, right!! All those inclusions... The glow doesn't half make up for it! I should just donate it to Goodwill or something.. [emoji23] [emoji23]

Seriously though, I don't wear this ring enough...only wore it twice in the last few months.. Not sure why (besides having my new oec which I'm wearing quite a bit) . I always feel a bit self-conscious of its neon color when I wear it to work (it's not exactly subtle) and I'm always paranoid about chipping it due to the inclusions possibly making it more fragile.

I feel that my holy grail would be a windex blue Paraiba, though it would probably be a cab... In the meantime this green one is not too bad [emoji51] [emoji51]

You all have some amazing stones, I'm finding myself getting a little jealous of some of them. My two dinks.dsc_0533.jpgdsc_0474.jpg

You could try Paraiba International. Also ask Adam whether he perhaps has pairs that are not listed. Happy search :wavey:

Mochiko your tourm is actually my holy grail paraiba colour! I prefer the gorgeous blue green to the trade preferred windex blue. Your tourm reminds me of a tropical lagoon, I love it! Happy to take it off your hands if you upgrade

Wow these are stunning. Is it the copper in them that makes them glow? Are Paraiba specific to a region or are they all the copper bearing/glowy stones?

PXL_20220724_165443713.MP.jpgHere's mine!!! From Desertrose and set by Klass. I am trying to muster up courage to wear daily at work (I work in health care directly with patients).

Guess the copper bearing tourmaline.

The pear, right? The oval with the pink spinels is probably tourmaline as well, but you can't tell whether there's glow from this picture due to the tilt window.

The oval is a mint garnet. The pear is the cuprian..
