I wear hoops A LOT (white gold and 14k gold-I alternate), and before I lost one of my diamond studs I use to wear those a lot too. I decided to wear something different today, plus it complimented my outfit for work nicely.

Absolutely! They were a gift from my dastardly ex in New Zealand many moons ago, so I wasn't there when they were bought, but what I CAN tell you is that they are OEC diamonds, slightly tinted but not enough to notice when in the ears, set in rich 18ct yellow gold. The diamonds measure 5mm across, but I have no idea what carat weight that amounts to as they are deeper than a regular MRB. They were from an antique store in Wellingron & did have diamond details on the paperwork, but 15 years on, a move back to the UK & my own crazy family, I have no idea where that ticket might be so can't offer more accurate info.

They are very well matched stones & twinkle beautifully - I find them a great size in the ear & the articulation is lovely. The wires show hardly any wear, they have squared off tab prongs & are in pristine condition for their age.

Thank you! These are very old. Like a decade. They were purchased by a local jeweler. I also have a citrine pair that are a bit larger.

Well I wanna play too! I had no idea these earrings would be this big! They looked small and dainty on my pc until i saw them in person. But then again, knowing me, there is no such thing as too much bling!

I'm thinking of making interchangeable emerald drops to go with all my studs and hoop earrings. They are, no doubt, included when compared to my clean-ish emeralds studs, but their colour, size and price point won me over.

Thank you!! They go with just about everything I wear! (I wear a lot of blue, grey and white). I’m a poster board for my son’s college lacrosse team on game days, and these little sparklers are perfect for the occasion!
