Show me your Daniel M goodies!

Thank you, blingbunny :-)
The length of the bracelet is 7 inches, it means that stones are inch or less than inch apart? :-)

I get much better work from my local jeweler. I used Daniel M a few times, the quality of work was laughable. Eventually I grew so tired of sending things back to him for repair I paid another jeweler to do it. Problems were loose bezels, a damaged stone and the band exploded on my mother's aquamarine ring that I had him make.

Roi - I'm so glad you got your pieces! They are lovely. Excellent for everyday wear.

Roi, your pieces are stunning!

Unlike Greg, I've been very happy with the quality of my DanielM pieces. For reasons mentioned in the other thread, I do not plan on commissioning new pieces anytime soon. It's very sad as I love his designs.

If anyone has any suggestions for jeweller with a similar aesthetic - I especially love his simple uprong solitaire rings - please let me know!

Thank you, katharath and ricezo :-) love your beautiful rings!
It is my first purchase from DanielM. I'm happy as well with the quality so far. I think after wearing these pieces everyday in a while i'll know for sure about the quality :-)

ricezo,, if and when something will come across, I keep in mind that you are interested. :-)

I have recent Daniel M piece to add :). I wanted to convert my MIL's late father's ring into a pendant for her for Christmas. Daniel helped us come up with a unique diamond solitaire setting and was also able to use the gold from the ring for the pendant. I love it and can't wait to give it to her. Originally, I was considering a bezel setting but the twisted halo around a prong set diamond was so much more interesting and something I never would have thought of. He was also very patient and lovely to work with.

Just wanted to share a gem chrysocolla Daniel M put in his setting. It's comfortable to wear and unique!

Daniel M also made these two rings for me, and a trellis ring.

Here's that trellis ring.

I’ve had several pieces made or repaired by him recently and I’ve been happy with everything!
- 3 x bezel coloured gemstone rings
- pearl & amethyst earrings
- repaired vintage bracelet
- upsized Cartier Rolling ring
- repaired opal earrings
He was great with communication & design assistance. Postage internationally was fine & the price was very reasonable (even with currency conversion).

Literally the only thing I can think of wrong was he perhaps was a tad too enthusiastic in polishing my Carter ring as the hallmark is now very faint.

These are the new earrings  and I’m already looking for to new projects next year....

I love those pearl earrings, @GliderPoss ! There's something so luxe about pairing gemstones and pearls together!

Those are truly delectable! I can see them with jeans and a blouse or even with a purple ball gown. They are so well executed! Bravo!

These are simply gorgeous!

And just going back a few years, your blue topaz ring in 18ct is what I have based my new setting for my amethyst on, which is currently on it's way back to the UK from Daniel as we speak! I wondered why I couldn't search for it - I was looking for HotPossum!

Aww thanks. :kiss2: Can't wait to see your version!

A reset of a treasured Amethyst I collected on my travels to Australia many years ago.

By the way, Alex, your beautiful ring is the inspiration for a setting he's making for me. My ring will be silver, an oval chrysoberyl set north/south, but with a similar double-prong basket. I love your ring.

How fabulous! Looking forward to seeing it when it's finished! The colour of your spess is AMAZING & so vibrant :kiss2:

@Alex T - Wow, this is a gorgeous setting and stone! Is this 14k rose gold or 18k rose gold setting? And can you provide the dimensions in mm on your Ammy? And your ring size! I think I am going to contact him as I have an Ammy I’m wanting to set! How long did it take Daniel to make your setting and send to you?

Thank you! It's actually 18ct yellow gold but picked up a rosie hue in the setting sun. It sits perfectly with my 18ct yellow plain Lucida band. It's just beautiful & so well executed.

The amethyst is 9x7mm and my finger is a 5.25 US, or K if you're in the UK. It took about a month, but there was postage & Customs to process. I had conversations with Daniel the day he got it & recieved the CADs 3 days later. Then it was about a week before he contacted me to say it was done & 10 days to get back to the UK as it was held up for a while.

How exciting & I hope this helps! He'll know it's my ring you're enquiring after if you say Alex T. Good luck!

The Daniel M ring I received yesterday is a 3 stone trellis ring with a morganite center I bought from Ivyandrosevintage and a pair of Yavorskyy cut aquamarines I bought from CDGEMSTONES on Etsy. In the bottom, gallery view photo, it's on the very right.

Here is a silver octagon 3 stone ring by Daniel M. The 6.5mm spess garnet is from Mastercut Gems last year, and the 4mm pink tourmalines are from Cecile Raley Designs.

@ZestfullyBling

Wow, this is so different to anything I've ever seen. The shape & arrangement of gemstones almost reminds me of a carousel. So different for his stuff too! Love! (:

This was my first time working with Dan. I was apprehensive due to some issues he had, had in the past but I can promise everyone this was one of the best customer experiences I’ve had with a jeweler. The band is my own he made me the three stone
