2 photos - one of my pear (.79ct I SI2 from GOG) diamond double halo (3pt stones - E/F) in 18kt yellow with 18kt yellow gold chain by DKJ, and 1.13 Ascendancy I SI2 from GOG in a halo of 20 pt G colored stones from...all over! Setting and chain are both platinum. The bail has since been slimmed down on the cluster.

1.08ct in a WG bezel with a hint of YG, threaded on 2 thin 14" chains. It sits lower than it used to but I don't think my neck has changed

One of the jewellery stores in Sydney CBD in Chinatown. They don't have ideal diamonds but they have some really lovely pieces. I love looking through the stock on that street.

I actually set my eyes on a pear of 1.43ct F/VS1 but it was sold the day before I returned to the shop. The jeweler then took the loose oval frm the back office & told me it was even better than the pear. I took his words & let him set it at his discretion. It turned out beautifully simple & nice .

Both pear (the one I missed) & oval were of exact carat weight, strangely.

This somehow survived getting run over by a car, so it does look a little off. Platinum setting. I am actually surprised that platinum was strong enough to withstand the load. No clue what the diamond stats are.

I've been wearing this vintage deco style 14k diamond pendant I bought recently. Then I found my dream rolo chain, 14k, with diamond cut bead stations. But it's 3.7mm wide and the little bail on the pendant doesn't fit. Eventually I plan to have a larger deco compass style pendant made, but for now I'm rocking this "neck mess".
