Show Me Your Diamond Studs!

My first pair of studs! I like the size I went with in the end, and I wear these daily.

1.82 tcw E/VSI in 18k WG 6-prong crown settings from Brian Gavin.

Buying these earrings brought me to Pricescope, I love it here!

They’re gorgeous! Welcome!

Gorgeous earrings, you made a great choice going with BG!

Welcome to PriceScope, we are glad you are here!

Thank you! Yes, I'm SO GLAD I went with BG. Even my untrained eyes can already tell the difference between super ideal cuts and more typical diamonds.

They’re gorgeous! Welcome!

Thank you! I love the ring in your profile pic, step cuts are so lovely and its on my list to get one!

Thank you @clairebc! If you stay on here long enough it may happen sooner than you can even imagine! :lol-2:

@MissGotRocks Thank you!!

@MamaBee I actually was originally going to get emerald or asscher cuts for my studs, but I was worried they'd get dirty with all the hair product I use. Or I'd get annoyed with them rotating. And I think Its also a lot easier for a newbie like me to pick out a good pair of round diamonds vs step cuts (specs are more cut and dry for round I think?), especially at BG!

I have to say that’s true..I have a pair of princess cut halo studs..They do take effort to keep them straight...I think you made a great choice..

Beautiful and welcome! I love the settings too!

These are beautiful and sparkly, and a great big size too
Thank you very much, I'm glad you like them. Well, the size is such a thing, when I bought them, I also tried some with 6 tcw but was then too shy to wear this size. But immediately after the purchase diamond shrinkage has set in and and today I would be glad if I had been a bit braver then - lol!

Thanks! This just redirected me to the original post? I only see pictures/no details? I am new to Pricescope and obviously don’t know what I am doing. HA! Thanks for trying to help.

EAP922. The original post usually has all the details in it.

Thanks, momoffive! The weird thing is that there are zero details for me. Four pictures, that’s it. Maybe I need to try my computer instead of my phone/iPad. Appreciate everyone trying to help!! :)

I bet they sparkle amazingly!!

Thank you! Unfortunately, I don't have reports for them to see their full characteristics. There are only numbers applied by laser on diamonds. but ags laboratory does not display data on them or I don't know how to look

Happy to share my 4.20 tcw diamond studs in G color and VVS2 clarity.

Beautiful I can't go that large mine are already at the bottom of my lobe but I do appreciate your gorgeous studs

A year or so ago I gifted my sister my small studs when I upgraded. They were well cut and were quite sparkly.

Although I have enjoyed the 1.8 tcw lab studs from Distinctive Gems, I missed the nice smaller set too.

I just bought a lovely pair of EG studs in the 8 prong settings from Brian Gavin. I or J color, .66 tcw. I am so pleased with the sparkle and the execution of the studs. The little claws on a .33 diamond, perfectly done.

So I have a question if anyone wants to answer. I recently lost (and I don't know how) a backing to my earrings. They've always had LaPousette backs since I've had them, which has never failed on me...until now apparently!

So this morning I happen to be taking my earrings out for their cleaning, lo and behold, no backing!

I don't know where this one got lost. could have been at the beach (we were there yesterday) could have been in bed , in my office....no idea.

I honestly don't know what to do now. (I did remove my earrings though for the time being (I feel absolutely naked   ) I literally take my earrings out every 3 days, clean them, put them back in. Should I consider getting another backing made for the earring, have new ones made, new totally backs altogether?

I was on the upgrade train, but then Ms Lucky had to have her surgery and now therapy which is more important than earrings.

thoughts and suggestions welcome!

Good thing you didn’t lose your earring! I would get both backs replaced. Also have the jeweler check the little notch near the ends of your posts to make sure they’re not worn down. You want your backs to catch on that notch.
My post broke at the notch. I had the posts and backings replaced in both earrings..It looks like you just need an inspection and new backings. You were lucky…No pun intended! Haha
