Yaja these are the hands of 4 different PSers who indeed have beautiful hands and nails. Unfortunately I have not

Their rings are featured in the Fabulous rings under 1250 dollar thread, just like the ones below:

I'm going to sneak mine in here even though it was $5,200 :naughty:

1.20 carat princess cut, J/VS1, in the Blue Nile floating halo (14k wg).

Beautiful ring, Feb!! Is it your new e-ring?

:wavey:

Acinom sorry i thought they were yours lol!
and Feb03bride I love your ring!! princess cut is my fave of all.

It's been about a gazillion years (and almost as many rings in between!) since I last posted here on Pricescope...but how about a Scott Kay 19k yellow gold and platinum engagement ring and matching band...for $889? The center stone is a placeholder (the 6.5mm cz came with it), but the side diamonds on the engagement ring are natural (and amazing), as are the stones on the band. I bought this set less than a month ago. The first photo is one that I took (pardon the dry skin and poor photography; I can assure you that the stones do not look blue in person), and the second is a professional shot of the actual set.

Well this isn't my e-ring - but it's the ring I WISH was my e-ring. It's a 9kt rose gold 5 stone ring, supposedly originally set with rubies and bought on eBay for $950. In reality it was set with garnets which I removed, and reset with rubies (2 x .5 and 1 x .62) costing $900. The diamonds are J VS2 and SI1 respectively, and cost me $1300. The setting coast was only $200 and I had the ring re-plated also.

All up, it cost me $3350 - but it still has beautiful diamonds and rubies, massive presence on the hand, lots of sparkle, antique sentiment, loads of color, and great workmanship. Bargain!

This ring is so gorgeous!!! Could we have a hand shot, pretty please?

My fiance (now husband) and I found this gorgeous five stone engagement ring at a local jeweler for around $3500. The band didn't come with it; I found that separately at Kay Jewelers. The band doesn't exactly match, but it's very close and I love the way they look together. I thought about going with a more plain band, but that just didn't appeal to me in the end, and the band with the stones just seems to set off the engagement ring perfectly! Total cost with band was around $4K. I looove my rings!

I have been seeing a lot of people come here with budgets lately. I think a lot of newbies on her dont know exactly what they can get for the price. I picked 5k becuase well, its a round number and it allows me to fit mine in

but please, anyone on a tighter budget of less than 5k (still a lot, but we are talking PS standards here ;) ) please post your rings, and the cost (if its new, approx appraisal if its an oldie), you can give a range if youd rather. But I just want the people coming in to see that a budget doesnt mean you have to skimp on the fabulous

Paired with a 2mm white gold band also from James Allen. Diamond was $1320, setting was $675 and the band was $91. Oh I'm glad a pser got this stone! I looked at it before it was listed and passed (holding out for my pink!) but it was so cute.

kb1gra, I've been seriously tempted by pinks and your double halo pink is a DREAM!! (it's so next on my list once I manage to save up enough to get one like it!).

For the record, the FIY in my ring is an eyeclean I1 (something which I know isn't for everybody)! However, the gorgeous saturation in colour (no cup required!) and attractive price because of clarity meant I could afford to place the ring into a setting which I really liked without blowing the budget... and coming in well under 5k :)

Mine was in the 3.5k range for anybody wondering (given the point of this thread is to give those looking in the <5k range an idea of what they might be able to get!)

I mentioned how gorgeous this is in its SMTB thread  and I didn't realise it can be done for under $5k  . You did so well on this ring :appl: :appl:

Ering - less than 3k.
.795 J eyeclean S1 AGS 000 $2060 on James Allen inspired pave setting (about $850 due to 15% off sale)

Marching band was 15% off - about $700

Plus price scope discount

This is a great thread and shows what you can buy once you've done some research. :appl:
Here's my e-ring under 5k (not including platinum wedding band).

0.842 carat J VS2 AGS0 expert selection diamond by Whiteflash, set in a 18karat yellow gold and platinum Vatche U113.
A diamond and setting of a lesser quality would probably have cost twice as much at a mall jewellery store where I live. Yay for PS!

Here's a farther away pic. The ring, stone and band were just about 5k. Those aren't inclusions, they're just little dust spots.

One of my favorite threads on PS. Here's a .85ct I SI1, beautifully cut diamond from James Allen in one of their solitaire settings. Finger size: 6.5. I think this combination of sizes looks perfect, and the young lady in question is THRILLED.

Total price: almost exactly 3k.

Loving this thread--what beautiful rings! Just goes to show what you can do with a lower budget and a little savvy.

I haven't given it to her yet, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. The diamond is a .91ct K SI2 6.35mm 3X Medium Fluoro from James Allen, locally set in 14K yellow gold. Total paid was $2,981.

1.72 M SI1 pear size specs 10.63x6.61 around $3000 (I can't remember the exact pricing) USA certed diamonds

Setting 14k rose gold custom by studio 1040 $1700

Total right under $5k (I had a 5k budget but was planning to spend just that on the stone and worry about a setting later)
