Show me your eternity that "overpowers" your solitaire

I'd like to see this combination, either with eternity or anniversary band. The big bling look, where the eternity stones are not proportional to the size of the center stone or "take away" the focus of the main stone. Thanks!

I don't have pictures because my hard drive crashed and my computer is at the medics (I'm pricescoping from work )
Anyway, I have a 2 carat radiant that I used to pair with a 4 carat eternity band (.25 pointers.) But after a couple of months I felt that the eternity band was overwhelming my diamond so now I either wear the eternity band by itself or I pair the diamond with a 5 stone band (.18 pointers.) But beauty is in eye of beholder, wear what you like!

I kept forgetting to come back to this. I definitely think my 1/2 eternity (1 ctw) overpowers my engagement ring. It's not a solitaire, it's a 3 stone (center stone 1 CT, sides .24ish) but I still think it looks prettier (and bigger) with a plain, thin band.




I wish I had gone for a full eternity with smaller diamonds. I now think that would have looked nice. Oh well. Maybe that can be an anniversary present someday!

Luv2Sparkle, do you know what size the stones in your eternity band are? (Or tcw?) And how is your Leon spacer - which I love - holding up against your shared prong? I too have a shared prong and trying to decide whether to invest in a nice spacer or make do with a cheapy for now...[not to threadjack]

Here is mine. The ruby is 2.65., and the pave is made of 1/2 pointers. The eternity is 4.85, F-VS stones.(15 stones, each one is ~.33 carat) Ring size is 5.5
I enjoy the contrast.

here is my set. not sure if its what your looking for, but sometimes i worry that my wedding band sparkles too much for my solitare.

my eternity is certified 2.0 carate, color d-f, clarity I1, measurments 2.90 x 3.00 x 1.90 mm white gold and i bought it from a fred meyer here in las vegas

1.75 ctw 5 stone (from IDJ which I had to return due to workmanship.. still totally bummed )
I know it's not an eternity, but you get the idea.

I would've worn them together (cause I'm like that!) but I think it does over power a bit!

Here is mine. It is a 7 stone, with 6 x 30 points a 1 X 31, because my lucky numbers are 7 and 31.
I love it. However it does rather take the shine from my 1.7 RB solitaire. What can I say, I am addicted to sparkle! It is my favourite colour!!

I never wear these together (and should be spanked for not creating a thread for all the lovelies I've been hoarding from ID Jewelry lately!) but thought I'd share a set that overpowers the solitaire! I think this would totally overpower my solitaire if I didn't have a halo but because of the monster finger coverage, I've found that it holds its own. While I would never wear these two together IRL, I did order a .8mm palladium spacer ($50 - a steal on Etsy!) just in case... for those over the top dressy dressy nights, maybe? Too RHONJ??? ROFL!!! The eternity has to be super low for it to work, I think. Yekutiel set this one very very low to be as modest as possible but the stones make it too crazy sparkly to be discreet! Gaudyville, admit one!

One day, I will not have horrendously chipped nail polish and dried milk crust and spit up all over my person. Really. One day. I can dream, can't I???? Tell me it gets better, new moms!!!! If necessary, lie to meeee!!! I just need to hear that one day I will have time to get a REAL manicure!

ETA: All the sets here are INSANELY awesome!!! Am I sick to think none of the eternities overpower your amazing rocks??? I love dainty delicate bands, but your sets are also TDF. I love big blingy looks and they all look super YUMMY!

Bliss, you need to start a thread in SMTB with all of your goodies! You have such an awesome collection! I really love your cross from IDJ and have it on my wish list! And yes, you will find time to get a manicure I promise! My son is two now and I try to find time for myself weekly. You'll get there!!!
