Show me your fabulous fashion jewelry!

Thanks lady, I actually gave it it’s own thread when I did it but maybe people missed it.

Totally forgot that when I was a teenager I would take apart all my jewelry (silver and CZ) and make new things when I got bored. If I couldn’t get the pliers to work, then they got glued in! Just like the professionals! ;)2

i am very impressed :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl:
ive never progressed from 14 year old me who would go out to dad's garage and fix and lengthen my chains
if only i still had those 14 year old eyes and nimble fingers

I think I was a magpie in a past life or something, because there's something about moissanite that just scratches an itch in my brain. I started looking into it recently in an attempt to create an exact replica of my e-ring, but found this on Amazon for cheap instead and bought it for kicks and giggles. Wasn't expecting much, but have been wearing it for a few days straight and having so much fun with the rainbow sparkle bomb.

oooo Amazon link please?

I'm usually a fine metals and stones kind of gal but I'm leading a much more casual lifestyle as of late and have been totally digging playing around with silver and fun fashion jewelry (and subsequently layering these with fine pieces).

The necklace is a working whistle necklace by Alkemie Jewelry on a 34" vintage inspired chain made of recycled metal with a gold patina. The whistle is a reproduction of the whistle necklace by Avon.

The ring is Number 8 Turquoise and an opal cabochon cut by hand and produced by Mahka Jewelry set in sterling silver. Check out her IG, she has seriously beautiful limited-edition releases!

The necklace is 14k gold by Star Animal Sundays before they stopped casting in 14k and started casting in 10k. =\

Holy cow, that RING is outstanding! I just followed her on Instagram, RIP my wallet when her new stuff launches Friday.

More silver and cz on the way for me, though my last order (above) is not even here yet. I like it! It's not too expensive, I don't have to worry about it being lost or stolen and more importantly, I can have MORE! Yes, more, more, always more!!!

I found a thread on here about the ring: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/berricle-pricescope-cluster.250258/#post-4581351

Moissanite Company house brand 6.5mm colorless OEC in ring composed of Stuller illusion head and a step shank that are still in current catalogs.
Other ring is a Tiffany knife edge replica from Amerian Set on ebay, purchased in 2008 or so. The stone in it is an old 2005ish moissanite 7.5mm round brilliant with the large table, flat crown, and slightly yellowish/greenish tint typical of that era, but it's beautifully cut and throws broad flashes of fire. Both rings are unplated 14k white gold. I use them as work rings in places where I won't take my diamonds.

I don't totally consider this to be "fashion jewellery" but since it's got synthetic opals and is argentium silver im putting it here anyway xD

I found an etsy creator who makes what has been lovely silver jewellery and am trying out her synthetic opals to see if they wear any better than mined ones. If they do I'm totally planning on getting my daughter a bangle with the opposite colouring (big white and little black) for when she is a little bit older and more responsible lmao. She made the silver spacer as well. I honestly think it might be my favourite of my silver spacers.

I finally had my portrait-cut lab blue sapphire (precision-cut by Gene Flanigan) set by David Klass -- I went low-key (and low profile) with just a bit of flourish on the shoulders because this dreamy blue stone deserves center stage -- I love her so much!

i love everything about this

Ok so I decided to keep experimenting with synthetic opals in sterling silver. It's only been a month or so with the cuff of course. I still have plenty of time to wreck these by wearing them through too many things irresponsibly lol.

Buuuuuut I ordered a sort of a mother's pendant from another etsy seller for Christmas. Although I see 0 reason it would need to be a mothers only gift :D I kind of tentatively want to order another next year with a black opal xD No joke lol. I got white opal this time around subbed in for my daughter's diamond birthstone. I really love it! If the opals keep wearing well I might get another next year. Think I would be trying out the polished version rather than oxidised with that one. But I do like the oxidation a lot! That weird brown tinting at the bottom is my bad photography Sorry! Next stop a half eternity ring with black opals. Eventually xD

I bought some moissanite studs from Aliexpress to try it out before I commit to LG diamond studs.
They are 1ct each, 2ctw, what do you think of the size? Too big for daily wear? Maybe 1.5ctw might be just right.

So pretty and love the setting. Can I ask where you bought them from? =)2

I treated myself for my birthday. It's set in sterling silver but I just had to have it because the color of the citrine is stunning! It's so hard to find a citrine that isn't washed out, or brown. So I can deal with the silver. It's Brazilian citrine with a 2.29ct elongated cushion cut and the sides are 0.10 ct each, trillion cuts. And it was on clearance, so the price was unreal. $37 USD!

A couple of new Berricle rings, first the emerald cut with trapezoid sides. My first emerald cut and I’m blown away.

I also picked up this purple ring, it’s on sale now, so a really good price and I LOVE the color!

I deleted my original post because I thought I posted in the wrong sub forum. Anyway, here is a new moissanite 7 stone band I got from Amazon made by Ladylike; it ended up being less than $50 pretax with their 30% off coupon:

I used plastic ring adjusters for this as the smallest size is a 4 and my right hand ring finger is a 3.25-3.5

Overall I really like this band! I didn’t have high expectations for it but it’s really sparkly and has rainbow flashes! I stopped wearing my moissanite rings after getting married but seeing the rainbows on this ring made me miss that! :kiss2:

@seaurchin Did this ever come in? Would love to see!

Me too! I'm spending all the money I can scratch on the house, so a ring like this in a design I love would be a great little treat sometime soon

I just received a 5 stone moissanite band from Doveggs via Amazon. Packaging was great! Not only was the jewelry box it came in was nice, but there was a silver polishing cloth, certificate card, plastic sizing rings, and a ring sizer. Estimated diamond cttw is 1.25. I was a little worried it would be too big, but I love the size and even more so than the 7 stone moissanite band I received a couple weeks ago.

I am hinting at my husband to get me the diamond version next year since we will have been (officially) together for 10 years.

Here is how it compares to the 7 stone. I do still like the 7 stone, but after a couple days I felt it was a little too small and reminded me of too much like an eternity band:

I also just bought this elongated antique cushion moissanite from Starsgem! GH color and only $64. This will be my first “big” stone. I put this in quotes because I don’t think it’s considered big to PSers (9x7mm), but it’ll be huge to me! I was planning to make this into a pendant but now I kinda want to make it into a cocktail RHR. I’ll have to see once I get it… :)
