I''m DYING for this Beverly K. eternity ring, but like I said, I''ll probably have to get something similar custom made in a 3/4 eternity when the time comes.

Squee, we have similar taste! I just got this one in a half eternity for my wedding band. It just came in yesterday, so I haven''t had time to take pics and post it yet. But I loooove it - it''s gorgeous. My ering is a plain platinum solitaire with a RB stone and they look great together!

That sounds beautiful! I can''t wait to see pics of it!

On my quest for a unique ring, I also fell in love with this for a while. It's called the "Carved Branch" form Krikawa, and it fit my need for a "nature" theme.
We decided against it because I wanted more protection for the stone, and bf called it "Sauron's Eye"

That would go nicely in a thread I have in the Hangout area about weird things people have called jewelry pieces (my boyfriend called a round brilliant with a halo a "moon base" once--whaaaa?!!)

Here is the thread, if you are curious: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/do-any-non-jewelry-people-in-your-life-ever-say-weird-things-when-describing-it.80316/

ohhhhh man!!! it''s threads like these that get me in SO much trouble!!! but i''ve had to put my proposal wishing on hold for now (well at least the hinting and kind of hounding my poor bf part-my thread explains).

there aren''t many places where i''m from that had this ring but it''s definately the number one pick out of the few that i like.

Julie04-that ring is simply breathtaking-i''ve never seen anything like it-i hope you get it soon!!!

here is mine....

Here's my wished for ring from Scott Kay. The center diamond would be round instead of square though. BF has seen it IRL so he knows it's the one I want

darnit, can't get a direct link. Sorry.

Oh my ladies those are some FABULOUS rings. I need a drop cloth to mop up all the drool!

I would post my hoped for ring but I can''t seem to get my laptop to cooperate... I''ll try again tomorrow. If any of you are the ambitious types it is an ajaffe ring style ME1279 under engagement rings : classic. Thanks for posting ladies! I can''t wait to see the real deals!

For ages I thought I wanted a plain Tiffany-style 6-prong solitaire, and then I fell in love with the Mark Morrell Flame, which from the top looks like the Tiff 6-prong but the basket is just a KNOCKOUT (and I love ring profiles, so, hubba hubba, come to momma!
31.gif
). Recently I''ve come across Mark''s Torchiere, which has the same head but the shank of the ring is rounded instead of knife edged, and I think I miiiight be leaning more towards the rounded one. The knife edge might make the stone pop a bit because it''d look thinner, but I have giant fingers, so a wider-looking band might work better for me. And the rounded thing might be a bit comfier.

Anyway! You didn''t really want all that, you wanted a picture! So here''s a shot of the MWM Torchiere:

Gwendolyn! This is gorgeous. M doesn''t get AT ALL that it''s not just the diamond we''re looking at. I LOVE this setting though.

Hahah, your M sounds a bit like my J, who first couldn''t tell the difference between that ring (the Torchiere) and a plain 6-prong solitaire. I was like, "Um...honey, when you look at the side, there are lots of tiny diamonds on this one, and the other one doesn''t have any of that." He said, "Where? I don''t see them." H-ooooookay! Weirdo. (This is also the same man who thinks halo rings look like moon bases, so I don''t know why I even bother sometimes.

)

The good news is that, after enough clubbing over the head, J finally did see the difference. Either that, or he just said he did to shut me up about it.

If you haven''t had a look at Mark Morrell''s website, do yourself a favour and check it out. His stuff is just amazing: http://www.mwmjewelry.com/

This is the one I''m currently favoring. I know there''s absolutely no way a real Tiffany Legacy will be in my future budget, but I did find this affordable setting in that same style.

Completely different, I know, but this is the other style I really like, probably with a princess center stone.

hi. i've been lurking for awhile...and i'm a lady in waiting. my bf has this ring from ritani in his possession and he wants to propose, but he can't just yet. we're currently working with bill from pearlman's to get the plain matching band and the pave matching band from ritani (for my wedding bands).

i'm excited about my first post! =)

Aw thanks LDubs!

I don''t often come and visit this site much anymore, but I just happened to see this thread and then my ring! He he

I am currently having the wedding band made (with baguettes to match the e-ring) and I will definitely come back and post some pics when they are a duo!

If you ever want any advice about the ring (or specs etc) just let me know!

Sassee - Please do post the wedding band too when you get it! I think your ring''s gorgeous - I''m just so intimidated by finding the ''perfect'' cushion - yours is just oustanding

Aw thanks LDubs. We were just so lucky - it was about the 4th loose stone we'd seen from 2 vendors. We are in Australia where cushions aren't well known at all, but we "struck it lucky".

Use the advice of all the PS-ers though - they are absolute gurus when it comes to cushions! I assume you are in the US, so you probably have the benefit of all of those wonderful jewellers too!

I love Asschers and have big hands, so I think I may have settled on that. Or a round solitaire. We will see. Love this thread!

So many to choose from. My taste runs from the traditional all the way to the not so traditional look. So to be on the safe side and since i have loved the look of the Tiffany Lucida for as long as i can remember, i would like something similar. The Vatche comfort X Prong with the GOG Princess of Hearts cut stone. AHHHH now that i think of it i could handle any setting with that stone... i just LOVE them!

good old good- vatche v-100.jpg

I happen to be really head over heels for the superbcert/white flash tiffany replica.

I think I just love the 6 prong opening up and being so rounded.
Does anyone know incidentally, if either setting is customized such that there is NO space between the 6 prong "shafts" I''ll call them and the diamond?

Well not that it matters anyway, I''m under the impression that my SO is no longer taking suggestions since the "shopping" portion is pretty much over.
Or maybe I''ve already offered up too many.

Ooooh! I FOUND IT! See below for the DVVS ad that I mentioned earlier in the thread. THIS is the ring that I want!

Oh, I was hoping there was a thread like this!! I can''t believe I had missed it before. I am sorry, I know this thread hasn''t been touched in a while, but I have been in a more optimistic mood lately (KNOCK ON WOOD!LOL), and I couldn''t resist, ladies! I just had to post some pics for fun, but I have a description first...

So, there were a few rings that I had looked at with my BF back in November when I orgionally thought the engagement would have been in the Winter/spring of ''08 (not happening now, although I have been hearing it will probably be before the end of this year! I hope!!). The first ring we both liked (up until that point he hated everything) was a Natalie K (although in retrospect and after much more research, I think it was actually a copy of style number NK10410-W). Then we both loved a ring from the Verragio Paradiso Collection PAR- 3013R, which is not posted on the website. Lastly, I fell in love with Simon G, one in particular that I might not have picked on my own, but it looked spectacular on my hand! He claims that he has one of these "picked out" in his mind, but he wants to suprize me "when the time comes", whenever that may be! They are all gorgeous, but the one that looks the best on my hand and is the most comfortable I believe is the Simon G. I would be happy with anything, however, and have even suggested that we not re-set my grandmother''s approx. 1 ct diamond, and instead just polish the platinum, and just use the solitaire (fishtail setting, from about 1948) as my ring (he doesn''t want to do this, however).

Anyhow, after much rambling, here are some pics...
The Simon G first. This is a different angle view form one I posted for Sparkalicious as per her request on her thread
2.gif
More to come after this...

Dani511SimonG.jpg

This is the Natlie K we first looked at. I think the one I had looked at was a copy... the bezel set "suprize" diamonds ( I hope I used that term correctly) in the gallery were rimmed in yellow gold on the ring I had tried on. We were told it was 1.89 ctw (setting only). The Simon G was about .91 ctw in the setting.

Dani511 NatlieK.jpg

This is SIMILAR to the Verragio that we had tried on. The one that we had looked at was for a RB and had round side stones. It was 1.40ctw.

Dani511VerragioParadiso.jpg

All of this was just for fun...it''s a slow saturday for me, LOL!
3.gif
Sorry to post so much!!

Interesting that this thread should come up again, because mine has changed...

I originally wanted a blue topaz e-ring but due to everyone''s comments about how easy it is to crack/cleave it, I shied away from that idea. So I love love love the color of stone I posted on the first page, but I''ve decided that I want a blue topaz because that''s what I''ve always wanted, and if I have to replace it-fine. Or if I have to put the original stone in a pendant and wear a sapphire on my hand-fine. Or just wear it for special occasions, and wear something else as a placeholder when I think it''s too risky.

So I want a 3ct (+or-) topaz this color, only an oval shape: link

In a plain 6 prong solitaire 2mm comfort fit setting.

For w bands, one plain 2mm comfort fit band and one krikawa carved curls band with a medium blue sapphire.

And then I''m good to go.

Dani Those are all gorgeous! I never get tired of looking at bling!!

Freke Mine totally changed, too! I''m so relieved to have actually ordered the ring! Sounds like you''re totally prepared for future upgrades
2.gif

You''re right on ktdid! I''ve told BF that the only diamond I want is a blue diamond-which would be my ultimate. So...upgrade city, here I come.

Thanks ktdid!

I am glad you like them!
