I put more on my thread Voce's Gemstone Ramblings. But I guess for your convenience, I'll add them here as well.

The first pic I posted (earlier post) was more accurate color for the green, and the later ones I took (attached in this post) look artificially more bluish due to camera making it look so.

I just got both from the same seller less than 12 hours ago so am being greedy with how many things I'm putting on my arm.

Makes me smile to see someone wear two. Maybe I'll do it again in spring!

@mellowyellowgirl
You can definitely do it! I'm slightly more cautious about wearing one on each arm, but wearing the sandalwood bracelets in between is good for preventing the two jade bracelets from knocking each other, if you wear two on the same arm.

P.S. how cold does Sydney get? I wonder sometimes, if you forego gloves in winter just to wear the big rings. Where I live right now, it doesn't get cold enough to the point where I need to wear gloves, but in snow country I imagine I'd only wear solitaires.

Here's my $50-60 bangle. Coarse to medium grain with a spot of seaweed. IRL it's exactly wakame color, not bluish.PXL_20210708_204216245.jpg
I got some cloisonne bracelets and decided to pair one with a bluish lavender bangle.PXL_20210708_204228236.jpgPXL_20210707_034428115.jpg
Look at all these bangles I've accumulated in the span of a few months. They're setting back my gemstone ring projects for sure...
I've purchased a few more to gift, and the last two slots are for an icy mixed color with some imperial green and an "icy lavender" that I have yet to receive. So keeping my fingers crossed...

About 16 degrees Celsius during the day. I've never felt like I need gloves. Perhaps only very early in the morning. But definitely too cold for short sleeves so can't show off the bangles.

My cheap and cheerful bangle has arrived. I love the thicker style and hefty weight on my wrist. It was sold as authentic Natural Burmese jadeite and I think the colour was represented well on the photos. It took just under a month to arrive from Thailand and was well packaged. Is this classified as bean quality?? Do you think it’s grade A untreated? I only paid approx $55 Au so I wasn’t expecting too much, but I like it

The place where I purchased my bangle, eBay seller Jadeburi has larger sizes available. I saw up to 63mm sized ones available. It was very affordable approx $55 AU including shipping.
If you put item on your EBay watchlist for a while sometimes the seller gives you a discount too.

Click on the padlock icon on first page, then If you scroll down to the bottom of the webpage you can select English as the language. Hope that helps

These two are my new favorites that I bought from a seller in the UK. PXL_20210713_154708245.jpgPXL_20210713_154746238.jpgPXL_20210713_195215084.jpg
Along with a bead necklace. I think/hope they are untreated, as it says they are on certificate cards.

That pink really compliments you

I will be returning them because the certificates are fake and because there's cracks on one of them.

Oh poo
:angryfire:
That's so disappointing
I really liked them
More importantly
Good luck with a hassle free return

I love your bangle case and what a pleasing array of colours!

So was wearing this light aqua bangle today…

My new bluish green bangle that has a lighter part and a darker part. Looks almost like 2 different bangle.
B34EC007-766A-4CD7-B3EC-AA8660D40D4C.jpeg

Li-Hong calls it a chameleon… and indeed it does look quite different under different lighting.

“ A beautiful translucent bluish green in window lighting, where the translucency shines and glows under ample lighting!

A Chameleon, the colour of the bangle reacts differently in different lightings. It goes from glowing translucency in good sunlight to deep bluish green under indoor lighting.

A rare good translucency with green patches.

Good clarity with few unique white flakes.”

I actually like the lighter part more and prefer a slightly thicker bangle but Li-Hong has a limited selection of princess round so this one it is.

I know quite a few ladies on the other forum who got bangles from the same stone. Not sure if anyone else here is a fellow bangle sister?

Need more big pictures lady!!! Not the wussy little ones you uploaded!!!!

Congrats!

I was looking at my bangles and surfing and found this really interesting! The work that goes into the final product that we buy! All that searching, avoiding cracks, putting up with certain patches, seeing if stone lines are tolerable. Yet this is where it starts when they plot out the bangle.

Please note that I've NEVER bought nor do I recommend this vendor. I have nothing bad to say about them, I'm just making it clear I'm not affiliated but don't want to steal their pictures.
