Thanks paeony and peachy! And peachy thanks for posting my pics
yes it''s unplated white gold and very chunky, but also very comfortable. The shank where it meets the stone is about 5.5mm going down to about 3.5 at the back where the band is. The tip top of the stone sits just 6mm from my finger so it''s not set very high. I totally love it and would like to have something else by him one of these days. He does really fine work.
Oh and my ring size is 6.5.

Another designer I love who works in a similar vein is Constance Gildea.

A slight variation of Coati''s ring
(I love this color combo!)
-- I''m not sure but are the wraps in green gold?
Wouldn''t this be lovely with rose gold as well?
Oh yes! That would be so soft and lovely.
I would love a photoshop of it.. can it be done?

All my future jewelry purchases are on hold until we can buy our house... I WANT several things but I dont NEED them (right now.. *sigh) lol Actually.. that''s not completely true.. I may have some pearl drops made for my diamonds so I can wear them with my wedding choker (under $100.. so.. maybe bday in June).. Hugs!!!

For SDL--here it is photoshopped in RG. I hope you can see it! I tried to make it subtle and kept the two tone.
Hmm.. pretty but maybe just the white gold with rose gold accents could be done. I still love it. Would be fantastic with a pink sapphire! You''re amazing. I''m so photoshop illiterate..

I got the idea here on PS a very long time ago. I dont know who''s they were or where they got them but I fell in love with them. I love the Esty thread.. I peruse pretty often The only realy jewelry purchase I''ll make this year is for hubby with his ring.

I''m having a difficult time deciding really. Because he''s never owned a sapphire, I''m leaning towards that with diamonds. He can''t wear his wedding band anymore because its too big, so he only wears a heavy comfort fit band I''d bought him to wear for work.(That makes me SO sad given how excited & surprised he was to receive his at our wedding). SO.. the band must be able to be resized if necessary. I''m leaning towards a channel set band or.. a sapphire center with diamonds on the side. I just can''t find men''s bands with any real *OOMPH!* Not over the top, just masculine but nice. Does that make sense?
woo hoo! i am thrilled for you whitby, such exciting things in the works!Date: 3/2/2009 1:13:45 PM

just got off the phone with Mr Meyer (whose ears must be burning this morning from this thread!)
he gave me a quote for my plat 3.25mm wedder with milgrain edges to go with my 3 stone. *very* good price - i was surprised! and very pleased
and away we go on the next project.
i currently have orders in with 3 different jewelers for 4 different rings (wedder replacement with JM, 3 stone reset with von bargens in NH and a pair of anniversary rings made from our original YG wedding rings with my original jeweler in australia). my husband is just totally bemused...
and i''m THRILLED!

These are all Caleb Meyer designs I''m considering for my oec. They''re all beautiful in their own right. I wish I weren''t so indecisive!
