Thanks! I don''t know how to make them any bigger. I''ll see if Eva will help me.

You have such fantastic taste.

And thanks Lauren and Meher Thakker for sharing your fantastic collections too. Loose stones are so much fun.

cushioncutnut,
Here you go.

icekid,
Thanks!

UM... hello! GOrGEOUS! ... would it be a problem to name the stones from top to bottom... I may be able to guess them....but I won''t..

YOUR next project is the Leon stone?

Thanks!

The dark green stones are all Tsavorites; the mint coloured one are Tourmalines; there is an inverted emerald with baby Paraibas cascading from it; from left to right, there is a Rubies cabochon, two french-cut Rubies, a Spessartite, a neon yellow Danburite.

What Leon stone?

Thanks Coati. That spess is something else.

Cushioncutnut, no worries.

Close up of my aquamarine (sorry about the fuzzies on all these pics).

Close up of the garnet. It''s really hard to capture the color of this stone. This pic makes it look a bit pinker than it is.

My moonstone, looking very blue. It''s very amazing to me that when I pick up this stone and look at it without a dark background, it looks almost clear.

My pink tourmaline, looking a bit pinker than it normally does.

My rubelite.

And, last but not least, my pair of tsavorites. The flash washed them out a bit but not overly much.

Kismet...I love the colors of those tsavorite pair...beautiful...

I should collect tsavorites soon ;)

Meher

OMG... those are gorgeous Fafa! I love the mint garnet and the spinels!!

You guys have some beautiful stones - Kismet''s tsavorites and fafa''s spinels, wow! Here''s my modest collection:

STTSESS.JPG

From the top, one row at a time: colour change sapphire, blue spinel, lavender spiler (som colour change); pink sapphire, tsavorite, emerald; opal, fire opal, tanzanite. The apparent flemish in the pink sapphire is my fingerprint. The opals are hard to photograph - you can get some interesting optical effects, but it's difficult to capture what they look like in person.

Kismet- I adore those tsavs! Are you planning to set them?

fafa- your mint garnet is gorgeous and bright and so sparkly! I wish I''d had the same luck; mine had to be returned

I''m loving this thead...

oh KB.. those are beautiful ...but the tanzanite caught my eye! Lovely!

Thanks, cushioncutnut - the tanzanite is definitely the most photogenic, and it''s to get it to sparkle for you. The tsavorite is dark, but does really well in bright light, where the colour is brilliant. Strangely the tsavorite and the emerald don''t flatter each other.
