#JOTW Show me your Luxury Watches!

My watch is from Polar lol...
Not sure if that qualifies for a pic in this thread though :lol-2:

Nah, I got one of them D&B watches and some others but it's probably not expensive enough :p
Thing is the Polar watch keeps me slim and that counts for something in my eyes ;-)

This is me and my breitling, love it with its original metal strap BUT it's way too heavy and hurts my wrist so I had to swap it out for leather. :cry2:

I almost didn't notice the watch as your armband and ring were so beautiful.

Adding my blue beauty - Rolex Datejust 36 with diamond dial and fluted bezel. Bought this for myself for my recent promotion! =)2 Giving my salmon dial (pink) Rolex and Cartier tank Louis a well deserved break. 9B7FF1E9-38AC-4B8C-9367-31E1726D6D63.jpeg

I should add my most recent: a Rolex Datejust 31mm with MOP dial & diamond bezel. I have a white face 2 tone 28mm with diamond markers, & wanted a different look so opted for the roman numerals, I love it.

This was my mum's 10th wedding anniversary present from my dad. The watch is now 40 years old.

It's now mine because my mum passed away on 17th February this year.

I just got it back from servicing and I'm missing my mum very much right now.

So very sorry about the loss of your mother. The watch is gorgeous and a sweet reminder of her always. I hope my girls will feel the same way when they wear my jewelry someday.

@sarahb Beautiful watches. :love:

Missy, thank you! Hope you are doing well, your new kitchen looks gorgeous! :wavey:

DiaDiva, so sorry for your loss. The watch is a gorgeous reminder not only of her, but a reminder of a grande anniversary that your father bestowed such a special gift to her. :-)

All the Rolex's are divine! I was 2nd guessing myself if I wanted to buy a blue dial, but dang it, I am losing control. The MOP dial, wow.. super nice. :lickout:

72EC0D2F-1ADA-45FF-B819-257B3E3FC8BA.jpeg My “new” Cartier watch. It’s actually over 20 years old but in mint condition and virtually indistinguishable from the re-released Panthere. Quite a lot less expensive than buying a 2018 model though!

Now I just need an entire new set of wedding jewellery in matching 18k yellow gold instead to go with it.

Both look very nice! I esp. like the Bulova piece, so elegant. I recently pulled the trigger on a 50s Elgin (chosen after comparing it to a Bulova piece from the same seller) but had to return it as it's not working properly. Pity as I love the vintage look of those watches...

Thanks! I love them even though I wear a jade bangle on my left wrist most days. A couple of years ago, the Bulova needed restoration work/overhaul done. It was gone for a few months. lolz No issues since. *knocks on wood*

It's great when they are working! Those vintage pieces can be more temperamental than modern pieces. The Elgin I returned was supposed to be in working order but unfortunately not when delivered in the post. Maybe next time...or maybe just vintage bracelets. ;-)
