Sorry, I meant to ask if the bezel is rose or yellow gold. Gorgeous either way!
Thank you Sharon.

Thank you Sharon. It's actually white gold bezel and white gold and stainless steel bracelet. In pics it can look darker but IRL it's super bright white and sparkly. The fluted bezel is just so so sparkly, like blingy sparkly. That's why it looks like a big sparkly bracelet that just happens to tell time, and remind me of the date.
It's so substantial, but I forget that it's even on.
OMG!! LLJsmom!!
Your watch is gorgeous!!! LOVE everything about it!
The pink face.. the diamond "6" marker.
It's such a classic with a new twist.
You are so lucky to have found it.. there seems to be a worldwide Rolex shortage.
Enjoy! It's beautiful!!
Thank you @Rubies-R-Me . It does feel very classic, with the jubilee bracelet and the fluted bezel. The trend is oyster bracelets and domed bezels these days. Yep, I've been looking for 1.5-2 years, and though I changed my mind a lot, I finally figured it out. It was so hard not to compromise but I finally decided to go gray so I wouldn't have to. That required a few extra steps but at least I bought what I really wanted the first go around. I'm already scheming for the second one. It's addictive...
Here is my early Christmas present. What a saga this is been, but it’s over. 31 datejust. This pink sunburst dial is a total chameleon in various lighting environments. In most lighting it is a very neutral beige with a soft pink hue. The fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet makes the whole watch a very blingy piece of utilitarian jewelry. In fact, it’s so blingy that it almost out-blings my ering…

@cushioncutnut : how fo you feel about your Cartier Panthere Ruban?
I love it , but I know it's very heavy, so I'm afraid it might be not very comfortable.
What about the mother of pearl dial? Classic or fashionable?
Thanks in advance.
As the owner of a few it is totally addictive!!! I agree 100%.![]()
@LLJsmom Your new watch is gorgeous!! Very elegant and looks amazing on you!
Since you are so knowledgeable about Rolex, can I ask if you know of a good site to benchmark PL prices? I’m not into watches, but DH is and am thinking of getting him one similar to this, if the price is reasonable. I understand prices have really gone up the past 12-24 mo and am not sure how to determine what is a fair price. I’m a typically PSer and don’t want to overpay

Thank you so much @cushioncutnut .Beautiful and I love how it looks with your gorgeous rings!
I love this thread! Three years ago, I posted here about my plan to buy a nice watch for my 40th birthday. Now I turn 40 in two months (!) and just bought a small Cartier Tank Francaise two-toned rose gold/stainless steel with mother of pearl. I love the elegant and understated look, plus the two-tones help integrate my rose gold pieces more into my overall look.
I am hoping this will be a forever watch. My only concern is whether it looks too small on me? I am not a fan of big watches on myself, but I want to make sure it looks proportional. I am still in the return period. Such a big decision for me!
Rubies you should post yours! Can we see them?
OK! I think I rounded them all up!
I have a:
26mm stainless.. the plain face is a replacement for an original rose dial with diamonds markers which I kept and can put back on if somebody wanted to.
26mm yellow gold with MOP face and ruby markers
26mm white gold with MOP face, ruby markers and a diamond bezel and lugs.
31mm two tone oyster bracelet and roman markers.
36 mm stainless with a jubilee dial and diamond markers.
And my current.. 36mm rose gold Day Date President with MOP face and diamond markers.
I have 3 daughters that are enjoying the first three currently and the rest will eventually filter down to them.

WOW!!!! Great stash! We are on the same wavelength--as I was thinking last night (while trying to fall asleep) about all the watches I've had in my lifetime (and what I did with them!!). I just have one left that works--my Yachtmaster and I don't even wear that.
Please show us your rose gold one--it sounds gorgeous!

Hi Sharon!
I actually think we are always on the same wavelength!
Thanks for the compliment about my "stash."
Things like that always run though my head about how many version of things I have had in my life.. mostly couches and kitchen tables come to mind! lol.
Would LOVE to see a pic of your Yachtmaster.
Maybe this thread will give you the hankering to start wearing it again.. or at least take it out and dust it off for a photo!![]()
I am going to preface - this is NOT a luxury watch. So, sorry if I am violating the thread rules.
I wasn't sure where else to share it! It is very rare and I have been hunting for this exact model for a while. I just bought it, so don't have it in hand yet.
It is an Imado moon phase quartz () vintage watch. I think it has a stunning design...I love the Lillian Vernon moon phase watch too.
It comes with the original box, woot!

I think it is a true luxury if you have something so rare and tasteful as your watch! Enjoy!
