Sadly, these are not mine, but I thought it'd be fun to throw them up for the extra eye candy.

Both out of Trabert's Jewelry in SF. The 8 prong is an OEC M and the 4 prong is an OEC N. Erika Winter settings - I wanted to see the settings in person. Maybe it was the store's lighting, but I could hardly notice the warmth in the stone, even against my J.

Skhii, I think the yellow gold appears that way, but it's pretty yellow. If I remember, I wore an olive shirt that day and my wedding band is 18k rose gold, also EW. I think EW does 18k gold/rose gold.

Here is Mr. Kaplan in her new setting! She is a 2.22 GIA M OEC from Jewels by Grace. She wasn't popping in rose gold or in a halo, but in yellow gold she is flashing around like the star she is! I'm posting in her lots of threads lol, sorry!

I decided to post this since I could never find an M color Emerald cut photo for comps. I though I would like a warmer stone but I didn't like it as an EC next to my band. This pic barely shows the contrast I saw IRL. It was a 2.4ct M loosely placed on a cathedral setting at a jewelry store (I "tried on" several that day) Very nice shape the color as an EC just wasn't for me but someone else might like it! For reference I'm a 7.5 size. The shadow of my phone, boo.

I do think the OECs in a warm color are divine!!! And cushions, rounds but not an EC.

Here is my 2.12ct M I1 bluffy oval which just arrived today. I thought it would be much more yellow but it's fairly white.
I've got it photographed next to my F colour marquise. In some lighting you can definitely see the difference. In others, not so much!

I'm trying to work out if I want a traditional or east/west setting! The there's metal colour and prong setting. I love a first world problem!
