Show me your most worn..and favorite pieces!

Here is what I have been wearing most lately. I tend to wear things for several weeks then change them up. I don’t go to many places but wear them at home or to the grocery store. Waiting on a second diamond bangle from DK which is a gift from DH so planning to wear that pretty regularly. Got email from DK that it is going to engraving to finish. So excited, I can’t wait. 7B2C894C-FA29-4614-913D-FBD0FFF42229.jpeg

Ooooh...what is the spinner pendant?

@MjK1 I was just going to ask the same

Ooooh...what is the spinner pendant?

It is an antique Venetian coin. I love antique coins and am fortunate to have a few. This coin was purchased on a trip to Venice and I had the diamond that I repurposed when I had it set. It is perfect on the reverse side so chose the spinner design. Thanks for asking!

Gorgeous pendant and such a lovely story of how you acquired it too.

I love this thread,so lovely to see all your beautiful pieces!! Here’s my box with things I wear often..everyday I keep interchanging chains and pendants, love stacking chains too...FB73E08C-375B-4BC4-865C-75F4201DD27F.jpegstuds daily as I have three piercings in each ear... rings sometimes just one sometimes many!! Once a month I look at my other pieces that Ive stored away if there’s anything I want to bring out...and I put a piece back into storage from the everyday jewelry box!

This is a really old post, but I just wanted to comment that this trio here is my dream collection. I love how all the pieces are so stylistically connected to one another. I have a three stone and I’m making a five stone but I really would like a nice sizeable diamond pendant like that someday. That’s beautiful.

Thank you. The pendant was an antique, lone component piece. I had the little links on either side removed and just threaded the chain through the back. Then had the two rings made to mimic the component. I'm actually wearing them all right now!

Old thread popped up so why not add to it, everyone.

Update:

I wore my grandmother’s ring on my right hand every day for two years straight back in college.

I copied Grandma’s ruby ring (that I posted earlier in this thread) with a dark brown pink diamond. It is my most-often worn diamond ring and probably second-favorite (not counting sentimental pieces).

The asscher is my favorite diamond ring, although not most worn, because it is a large stone for my taste (don’t laugh!). Here it is with what will probably be my favorite and most worn band.

@Lookinagain Would you mind sharing more photos of these pieces, and info on the stone sizes if you're willing? I think I found the post of your 3 stone on DK's Insta, but I would love to see more of the 5 stone, and hear more about the pendant. Like @Dreamer_D, I absolutely love the cohesiveness of these pieces.

I'm not very good at keeping track of these things. So I'll have to poke around and see what I have. I do know that the pendant was a component piece that I got from Grace and just had the little links cut off and threaded a chain through the back as I've already said. I'll see if I can find more info on the other pieces and the size of the pendant. From the CAD of the 5 stone, I got the sizes

I found an email from Grace. The pendant stone is .90 ct.

The three stone center is 1.09ct and the sides are .26ct. center is uncerted j/k VS2/SI1 from Alex Parks.

Here's 2 photos of the 5 stone (screen shot snips from DK's video).

you're welcome! Are you planning a project?

So many, in fact, but I'm still trying to decide how I want anything set. Strongly leaning toward collet set for a graduated 5 stone with OECs, similar to yours. Do you find the setting impacts the performance of the stones at all?

No but the 5 stone really isn’t a collet the way the pendant is. If you look at the side profile you can see that. The setting is darkened inside the baskets but they don’t really wrap up around the stones.
