Wow I love that. I think that oval link would be the technical term but still people refer to them as paperclip. Is it nice and heavy? It looks amazing!
Thank you! Yes, nice and heavy! And oldie but a goodie.

Wow! Thats amazing! It does have the paperclip type look to it, even though the links are a little more oval. Do you have any neck shots?
terrible photo but here it is...
Real life perspective
One more Nala, it looks gorgeous on your DD. Watch out...she may not want to give it back!:lol:www.pricescope.com
I love both those necklaces!
I love both those necklaces!
My daughter and I did this (at a different place, but same bracelet, permanently “zapped”) recently. They said the paper clip chains were the strongest so that’s what we both got. I’m so pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to wear!
Mine is a trombone chain but has paperclip type links in it. Thought you might like to see what a larger piece in that style looks like. I love it and stack it with everything.
The links are hollow but still pretty sturdy. I’ve been wearing it 24/7 including to sleep and hike etc. no dents or issues yet.
@MakingTheGrade off topic, but your pearls are fabulous!
Beautiful bracelets all of them!!
I love all of your bracelet stacks
I’ve been quietly obsessing over paperclip chains for the last 6 months so finally gave in.
Currently waiting very impatiently for this to arrive from Australia - it’s just plated since I didn’t want to commit to anything solid til I knew I really liked the style and would wear it.
Of course because when I obsess, I go a little overboard.. and I got an unexpected bonus from work, I also have these vintage trombone/fancy link watch chains on the way too

I so know what you mean! I dithered for months because I was worried about them dating but even the plain paperclip is a classic style so I hope it doesn’t date. And it’s not the end of the world if it does as long as I like them right?Great choices! I looked for trombone chains as well but couldnt find any that had the right specs I was looking for. Since they are a vintage item I think they are less likely to go out of fashion again in the way paperclip chains might. Having said that, I decided to get paperclip chains anyway because I really love the look and I'm hoping they dont look too dated too quickly.
Will you wear yours together stacked, or are they similar lengths?
It's so lovely! Can I please ask where you purchased it from? I LOVE it with your starfish pendant
Same! I’m quite excited to see if they look as good when they arrive. One is coming from the UK, the other from France. Also rolled/plated. Given the price of gold at present, I didn’t want to commit too much since I’m still working out if I like them.
Then if I do, I’ll look for something solid

Nice stack!
I know what you mean - I worried that the paperclip chains might be a trend as well. But in the end I decided I like them so much I dont care. If they are a trend I think they may be one that lasts a long time. Because they feel so nice to wear, stack well, and are also very light reflective which I love. I'm normally pretty cautious about anything too trendy in fine jewellery. But I really have no regrets in investing in my rose gold necklace and bracelet. I will still be wearing them in years to come, regardless whether they are off trend or not. They are getting worn every day and are so tactile and pretty - I'm a bit obessed with them
