It depends on the price. Most designer brands are using akoya pearls but many have freshwater lines. You're welcome to post your own thread with what you're looking to get and we will help you find the perfect gift

I strung these bead nucleated FW pearls last night. Very inexpensive from Quality Bead Mart on Etsy. Very colorful, lightly blemished and a welcome distraction as we hunker down here in my neck of the woods.

i have these lovely pearls i was gifted with from an older lady who has had them for many many years. I do not know much about pearls but they look lovely and real. i would love for some advice as to what type of pearls
they are, price of them and if they are rare in the world of pearls.
any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you
