Show me your Pearls!

I stumbled upon these Tahitian drop earrings a couple weeks ago and they’ve become my go to pair. They go with everything and feel casual and special at the same time. They are 10mm in 14kt gold. I hadn’t noticed the difference in coloration until I saw a photo. I love seeing the different tones and rather enjoy them that way89D8EFFA-9013-4257-ADA0-E050B0514B21.jpeg

I am finding that I wear them with my GSS pendant rather than with my Tahitian drop pendant. Somehow the less intense colors seem to blend better. Does anyone else mix their earring and pendant choices when wearing pearls?

i enjoy this thread every time I visit, which is often!! Pearls are just amazing!

I mix my bracelets and necklaces since I don’t wear earrings. I think it’s nice to wear variety so I don’t feel too matchy and formal.

Good point, @MTG! I’m not ordinarily fussy with matching. I was expecting to want to pair the Tahitians all together, but it didn’t work out that way.
I love seeing all the ways you make the pearls suit your style! Really creative and keeps it fun!

Bought this 10 mm drop on Etsy. Drop is on the right and my Kamoka is on the left Looking for 10 mm matching Tahitians to use as studs with cinquefoil silver/cz and drops.A0FED2D9-B354-4087-969A-E11CCD9CA0AC.jpeg

It seems like we all have a love of cats in common as well; for me a dog also.

Neat! I’ve never heard of pecan pearls.

I remember the tiny rice krispie pearls from the 80s. Which dates me, as that was forty years ago, LOL. I still have a few strands of those.

Two new loose Tahitians arrived today. I have 9, 10, and 11.5 drops. Might do a pendant of three. 53046812-945A-40B0-A3EB-DEC5F4286D97.jpeg

Sister and I bought these pecan pearls on Etsy from Shanghai. Vendor included a Chinese New Year gift for the Year of the Ox. 18BEFB04-E557-4D2F-B996-E3E9FAC516C4.jpeg
