My latest purchase from SimplyAdorned4U: a long necklace with silver/white/blue freshwaters with tanzanite beads. Bought a long necklace stand from Amazon. This is springtime and happiness for me! Love the glowing pearls!

I had my eye on this gorgeous Tahitian for months. My mother recently passed so I purchased this 15 x 19 mm pearl and will have a cap made with white gold and diamonds, in her honour. Mom was a pearl girl all her life.

Another pretty necklace - I like the soft purple-colored stones with pearls. Also a pretty tahitian!

Latest project from SimplyAdorned4U: a strand of dyed cfw 10.5-11 mm pearls. Bought the clasp from Etsy as well. The pearls were too big for the clasp so she put a cut Aurora Borealis crystal for extra glitzy interest. Love it!

I just love it when you post pictures of your growing pearl collection. I love the silvery tones in this necklace. Very Tahitian like and the crystal is a gorgeous addition.

I'm not working today so I am wearing my comfy polka dot shirt again with baroque Tahitians. The larger strand has some bi-colored pearls which I think are interesting.
Spectacular !
I hope we get to see the pajama pearls one day too

Hi, I'm new here. And pretty new to pearls. That said, I just went crazy and bought about 15 pearl necklaces and bracelets on an auction website. Now I'm trying to figure out what they are and the value. Some to gift, some to resell (Maybe) and most for ME. Here's one I bought. Those are sterling silver beads. Is there a special place on the forum to ask "what kind of pearls are these?" Most are vintage, I think!

Ok- here are the pearls I sleep in and I didn't include them in my collection pics. I liken wearing them to a dog thunder shirt. I know some people do not care for natural color pond slime pearls unless they are the gorgeous metallic Edison type but I like them and sleep with one strand in particular. The colors are endlessly fascinating to me and my sweetie likes to wear them too.

I definitely wouldn't trust that flapper strand- she looks like a real Diva. The carnival strand I would trust. That one is pure light and sweetness.

Just a single pearl pendant, but my first serious pearl purchase! Previously just bought pearls off of amazon from Pavoi so quite an upgrade. I think I'm hooked now, this is an Akoya from Japan.

All of these are from the same vendor. The largest pearls are slightly less sharp. The smallest pair is going to be a mother's Day gift for my mom.
So beautiful. On my monitor I see some pink and blue radiating from the surface of your lovely pearls.
They do! Very soap bubble. They are all from Takahshi. Her pair, the smallest, is the most pink. I have been really pleased with their items.

Got these pink akoyas months ago from @molinePDG and still love them so much! Originally got the smaller 7-7.5 pair but I prefer the larger (8-8.5?) size. Andrew was wonderful to work with. So patient and knowledgeable and he made the transactions super easy.
