It is Mother's Day here in the UK & we are shortly heading out for dinner. I am wearing my 18ct Lucida 1.75mm 10th Anniversary band with my Great Aunt's pearl & OMC ring. I don't wear this beauty often as the basket is weak (it dates from between 1895 & 1905, but that was as far as the paper trail that I inherited with it went) but it's always lovely in restaurant lighting. One day it will make its way to Caysie for a more durable but still sympathetic home.

Thank you @missy ! It is one of my most treasured pieces of jewellery. I worry I might damage it though. Caysie has agreed to remake it for me, she's just waiting on me to have the guts to take the plunge. I feel I will sort of be ruining it as it will lose all provenance, but it's not really wearable. I have my mothers blessing to get it remade. One day I will actually send it across the Atlantic!
