Stonewell, thank you! I was so lucky to have had that band hanging around- I love it with the ring, too! And I think that being platinum and without diamonds will hopefully not damage the Chloe, which has diamonds on the basket.

All of her moods are quite pleasing to my eye as of now. I have had her about a month so far so will keep you posted. But to date I love everything about her.

What tint?!

I don't really have any other words for how amazing that stone is. It's... amazing. Congratulations on it. I'm really looking forward to how you're going to set it, although based on some of the things I've seen you say in various places, I think it's possible that stone might be staying in that setting for a decent period of time...!

Thank you @soxfan. I am pinching myself daily. I really cannot believe how completely happy and thrilled I am with this OEC. I hope one day we can meet in real life and get to see each other's beautiful bling up close and in person.

What tint?!

I don't really have any other words for how amazing that stone is. It's... amazing. Congratulations on it. I'm really looking forward to how you're going to set it, although based on some of the things I've seen you say in various places, I think it's possible that stone might be staying in that setting for a decent period of time...!

Aww thanks and haha. Yes you are a perceptive person. I don't know exactly why but I really (so far) am loving the temporary setting Grace has given me. It is so feminine, elegant and very delicate too. In photos it might not translate the same but IRL the setting is beautiful. We went to our favorite estate jewelry shoppe a few weeks ago and the ladies there went crazy for the OEC (of course) but also loved the setting. Now of course what other people say doesn't sway me one way or another as I like what I like but it does reinforce the fact that I am not crazy for enjoying this setting at least for now. And my dh who generally dislikes halos around diamonds is also enjoying this setting. That was perhaps my biggest surprise of all...

Eventually I will (probably) set her in an elegant platinum 8 prong solitaire but in the meantime I am enjoying her just the way she is.
