I'm so glad you set it beautifully because I tried to buy it and you'd got there first. The only time I've really felt *ouch*, at being too late. I love that stone and you have given it the perfect setting, which took the sting out of it

Can I play too? They are 18k,one has a head that is an apricot-ish rose gold, and one is downright pink gold. Both are by the same jeweler but they asked if they could try a new alloy for the pinker ring.

I got this rose gold & diamond key necklace from ID Jewelry for a dear friend of mine! Hope she loves her Christmas gift!!!!! Snapped a pic in the box before giving it to her. Now I want one! It has a 20 inch rose gold chain. This pic is pretty much true to size in terms of width and length. Can't wait to see it on her! The pic doesn't do it justice because the rose gold is much richer looking IRL. Never knew how pretty rose gold could be!

littlemissmango: I think your ring is def one of my all time favorites for sure.

Here's mine. FH sketched it out and had it made. It's got a touch of rose gold, but enough that it's the first thing people notice about my ring. I'm a HUGE fan of rose gold - it's classy and timeless, but still unique. Someone who had never heard of rose gold did ask if it was copper--which I told her that it's rose gold--but then looked it up and learned that rose gold has a copper alloy.

I also attached a 'making of' photo that I find fascinating!

Here's the side view (courtesy of my jeweler). It's a 2.51 Merelani mint garnet cut by Gene Flanigan. The marquise sides are not the best match in color and clarity but I collected them for just a buck or a two a point off ebay.

hard to tell unless placed next to 18k yellow and/or green gold and then the "red" color is obvious.
