Thanks for saying that, Junie! I love RG in any karat. There's just something about that pretty hint of blush. It sort of blends into my fair skin, but I don't care! :mrgreen2:
 
I wear rose gold only (hence the name). This is what I’m currently wearing but I also have tanzanite earrings, garnet earrings, bead ball earrings and a morganite earring and necklace set. Slowly growing my collection focusing mostly on earrings.

@Rose-gold-or-bust could I trouble you for neck pictures - that necklace is gorgeous and I have a possible plan to have a similar one made with rose cut diamonds.... would love to see how it lays on the skin. Pretty please!

I’m not particularly skilled at selfies but I hope this helps. I have a thicker than average neck so I had this lengthened to 20”.

The diamond ring is 18k rose gold with yellow gold prongs and the plain band is 14k rose gold. There is only a slight difference that I can tell between the two. The 18k is a little redder, and the 14k is a little paler pink. Interestingly, I only discern the color difference from the side view. From the bottom they look the same.
 
Rose gold lovers, any thoughts whether one should go with rose gold prongs or white gold prongs with a K color diamond? The ring will be in rose gold.
 
I was super afraid of rose gold prongs, however I think if they are delicate they will look beautiful and unique. I had a K stone with white gold prongs
and a yellow gold shank and I didn’t like it as much as my current J in rose gold throughout.

Awesome! My friend just purchased a square radiant k color and your photos are timely!

I told her to consider rose gold throughout since the white prongs might make it look more yellow. I really hope my advice is correct.

The ring was made by a local jeweler and the band is VCA Perlee.
I will look for a few more pix.
The heart used to be in a necklace and then my daughter sent me the pic of the heart shaped ring in rose gold and I was sold! Changed the necklace to a ring and then took an unused pear and put it into the necklace.

18K RG e-weddingbands spacer and 14K RG Hello Noemie 3 diamond stacking band. I also wanted to try RG on my skin tone. I have RG bands in my rolling ring and plain Cartier Trinity but wanted to experiment with RG only. The jury’s still out for me as I feel it blends in too much against my coloring. I like it better when paired with platinum or WG.
