The band is size 5, the solitaire 5.25.
HOLY

Wait a minute - lest there be any misunderstanding.... the size of the ring shank on the solitaire is 5.25, not the carat weight of the stone!!

That stone is a D color 2.57 RB, SI1. I really like it. The band is from Blue Nile.

grrr, stupid computer.

No no, I didn''t think it was 5+ carats, but it looks muy perfecto on your lovely little finger!

I''m going to be an SI girl too, hopefully sooner rather than later.

I guess with all this baby stuff going on around me, my fingers have gotten stressed out and have shrunken to a 4.75!

I get to join the "Teensy Tiny Finger" mafia!

We sent my ring in to Vatche to have them put it in the dryer on high and shrink it from a size 6.25 to the 4.75 There''s talk they may just have to make a new one since the size difference is so ridiculous...so now me waits...

But I ust say, all of the rings posted are amazing and you ladies have SUCH beautiful hands!

I think SI stones are great. This one is totally eye clean from all angles and two appraisers both thought it should be VS2. As they get bigger, it is harder to find really eye clean SI stones though. The way things are going in the diamond world it seems that investment wise, it might be better to take a VS or higher stone with high color, etc - but it does get awfully costly!

I am surprised that it is a blue nile setting. Could you post a side view of your blue nile ring when possible? I would like to see if blue nile sets their diamond higher than Superbcert.

I just have to say that you all have beautiful rings and beautiful hands!! I can''t imagine being a dainty size 5!! I wonder if they could perform hand transplant surgery...hmm...

Enjoy your cute little hands and lovely rings!

NEL: I have seen your ring in these posts and let me tell you this:

That ring of yours will look stunning on any size, shape, and/or age of hand. It is gorgeous.

I guess my FI is lucky I have smaller fingers or believe me, I would have pushed for a bigger diamond to pop out on my finger!

I''m on a weightloss crusade (I just met with a trainer and I''m seeing a nutritionist in an hour, bwahaha

) so my fingers may shrink back down as far as a 4. I hope they do, then my diamond will look...

All the handshots and rings are soooo gorgeous.

Beacon! I, too, love your solitaire setting. It's so pretty and it makes your pretty stone just POP!

Hey y''all. This is my first post, so I hope I am doing this correctly! I am responding to the request for small-fingered people to show their rings! I just picked up my new setting on Tuesday- I had previously owned a Scott Kay three-stone ring, but it never fit correctly. It had been sized down from about a 6 to a 4 and a half, and when I went to get it sized AGAIN to a 4, 2 different jewelers told me that it should have never been sized to a 4 and a half, because the prongs on the diamond were now compromised... I should have had the ring made from scratch to fit me!! Long story short, I wore the Scott Kay ring for 5 years (since the proposal) and it always flopped around or fell off if I was cold! SO... I got a new setting! Yea!! The new ring is actually a 3 and 3 quarters, and my diamond is 2.27 SI- H. Now I will attempt to add the photo.

Wow now that is a 2ct on a size 3. Takes up your whole finger and is very beautiful. Lucky lady!

It's a longish story, but the stone is not BN. The band is though.

Vesper your Asscher is amazing - wow!! Looks great on you!

Here's my size 5 1/2 e-ring. The center stone is a 2.03 H SI1.

Here''s my wedding set, both size 5 1/2. Center 2.03 H SI1, channel set stones G-H color. I accidentally posted a too small picture above.

Really pretty Junebug. I like how you can see each individual stone in the ring.

Here''s my .93 K SI2. It''s a size 5 in the pics, but has since been sized up to a 5.25 because my knuckles swell and I can''t stand the feeling of not being able to get it off:

Robbie: That is a K?!?! It is beautiful! So sparkly white!

A better close up of the stone...

ETA, I meant to say these are the only pics I have on PS with the band...obviously there are now more than one. I hadn''t posted by ring with the band previously.

TG: I have decided that the color and sparkly of your stone are just fantastic. I find myself going through this thread and looking at that color!

Yup, it''s a K! Thanks! You can see a hint of color from the side view, but nothing like what I thought a K would look like before I saw this one!

Here''s my size 5 on a size 4.5 finger. I had a bridge added so that I could get it over my knuckle.
