Wait a minute - lest there be any misunderstanding.... the size of the ring shank on the solitaire is 5.25, not the carat weight of the stone!!Date: 10/29/2007 12:28:17 AM

The band is size 5, the solitaire 5.25.
No no, I didn''t think it was 5+ carats, but it looks muy perfecto on your lovely little finger!Date: 10/30/2007 2:08:57 AM

That stone is a D color 2.57 RB, SI1. I really like it. The band is from Blue Nile.
I think SI stones are great. This one is totally eye clean from all angles and two appraisers both thought it should be VS2. As they get bigger, it is harder to find really eye clean SI stones though. The way things are going in the diamond world it seems that investment wise, it might be better to take a VS or higher stone with high color, etc - but it does get awfully costly!Date: 10/30/2007 10:38:09 AM

I''m going to be an SI girl too, hopefully sooner rather than later.
I am surprised that it is a blue nile setting. Could you post a side view of your blue nile ring when possible? I would like to see if blue nile sets their diamond higher than Superbcert.Date: 10/30/2007 2:08:57 AM

I guess with all this baby stuff going on around me, my fingers have gotten stressed out and have shrunken to a 4.75!
I get to join the ''Teensy Tiny Finger'' mafia!
We sent my ring in to Vatche to have them put it in the dryer on high and shrink it from a size 6.25 to the 4.75 There''s talk they may just have to make a new one since the size difference is so ridiculous...so now me waits...
But I ust say, all of the rings posted are amazing and you ladies have SUCH beautiful hands!
Ditto! NewEnglandLady, your rings are sooooooooooooooo gorgeous. I really, REALLY love your center/size stone cut combo. Very very pretty!Date: 10/30/2007 1:19:13 PM

NEL: I have seen your ring in these posts and let me tell you this:
That ring of yours will look stunning on any size, shape, and/or age of hand. It is gorgeous.
I guess my FI is lucky I have smaller fingers or believe me, I would have pushed for a bigger diamond to pop out on my finger!
Is the ering also from Blue Nile? the setting is very elegantDate: 10/30/2007 2:08:57 AM

It's a longish story, but the stone is not BN. The band is though.Date: 10/30/2007 8:10:17 PM

Here''s my .93 K SI2. It''s a size 5 in the pics, but has since been sized up to a 5.25 because my knuckles swell and I can''t stand the feeling of not being able to get it off:

A better close up of the stone...
ETA, I meant to say these are the only pics I have on PS with the band...obviously there are now more than one. I hadn''t posted by ring with the band previously.
Thanks for noticing. It took me along time to pick out my rings. I love them!Date: 11/2/2007 9:18:09 AM

Really pretty Junebug. I like how you can see each individual stone in the ring.
So do I.Date: 10/30/2007 2:08:57 AM

Yup, it''s a K! Thanks! You can see a hint of color from the side view, but nothing like what I thought a K would look like before I saw this one!Date: 11/2/2007 2:06:53 PM

Here''s my size 5 on a size 4.5 finger. I had a bridge added so that I could get it over my knuckle.
