Show me your two tone rings!

i hope no one minds but great Uncle Horrie would have worked so hard to buy this for my great Aunty it needs a better picture
in real life it sparkles like crazy
when i got it valued its actual value and its replacement value is almost the same so its probably the best diamond I'll ever own
i.dont know why the band is red in the picture. i do clean it !

That's really pretty! Great Uncle Horrie did well!!

The two-tone (and three-tone) rings on this thread are stunners!:love:

Here's mine:

Although not diamonds (have another one coming for the anniversary), it's has been a mother's ring in the making for a long time!

18k rose & white gold with Alexandrite and Malaya Garnet in a hexagon bezel set.

Beautiful @musing! Alexandrite is one of my birthstones, and I don't own any, so I'm always looking for interesting ways to use them. Partnering it with the Malaya Garnet is genius!

(wheels turning) Those are my two kids' birthstones, too! :Up_to_something: Beautiful ring! I love hexagonal/octagonal bezels!

I’m all about the two-tone - most of my daily wear rings are! Top to bottom: rose cut moissy toi et moi in WG prongs with YG shank, pair of palladium/YG bands with bead-set diamonds and emeralds, WG diamonds on YG band (my mum’s ering) and WG/YG orange blossom band (my wedding ring). Also thanks to the light in this yellow-painted room, my usually white OEC is looking distinctly FY in this pic :eek2: so I’ll include this one as an accidental two-tone (Check out the petals tho) :mrgreen2:

@foxinsox I love all your rings, but I especially love that you have your mum's e-ring!!!

@Starfacet Thanks! The Alexandrite was a tricky find and to find the Malaya Garnet at the same time was lucky. Didn't actually think to pair them at first until I saw them together, loose.

Foxinsox - your collection is amazing (I knew it would be). Also whenever I see your mother's ring, I fall in love with it all over again! I have it saved in my Dream Rings folder. :kiss2:

I think my three-tone seven-stone ring from RDG (no longer around) is the most beautiful piece I own. Leaves are 18k YG, and flower basket and 'curls' are two different alloys of 18k white gold (both unplated). Photos minimize the colour difference - it's more exaggerated IRL, shades of yellow :kiss2:

The central diamond has been removed and the mount now houses a 9mm synthetic ruby. I LOVE the colour combo! One day I'll replace it with a mined spinel or ruby... The day the money tree flowers :mrgreen2:

Aw thanks! I love my mum’s ring and it always makes me think of her when I wear it. She didn’t have anything that wasn’t two-tone and I think it’s imprinted on me :mrgreen2:
