Show me your Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry!

Oh, I think the vet has seen it all. I actually don’t know what she said because I emailed her photos of the tooth. I was pretty sure it had broken off at the gum line. She had her assistant call me and say, yep. How’s this Friday look for a dental? Got to get that root out of there.

You can put a tooth back in place (on a human, anyway) if it comes out whole. You literally just plunk it back in the socket or just stick it in a glass of milk until you can get to the dentist. But I don’t know what they can do in cases like this where the tooth just breaks off at the crown and leaves the root submerged. I think it’s just toast.

As for more bracelet armor photos, here you are! Along with the wee beastie.

It would be so nice if that would make him rethink the play biting but I seriously doubt it. He is the mouthiest dog we have ever had. It’s like he just never grew out of puppy. On the whole I don’t mind it because he has this really goofy clownish personality. However, the play biting is annoying and I could do without it. We try to redirect with lots of chew toys. He’s a bichon and he literally demolishes those black super strength Kongs every few months. Bichons are not supposed to be power chewers. And yet here we are. Sigh. He is my heart dog and I love him to bits, though.

Thank you for all the good wishes. The doggo is indeed ok—he has been cuddled and cuddled today and is in my lap as we speak. Your hug has been delivered!

Tonks!! LOVE that stack. They all look fabulous together.

So ladies I added the wg perlee bead bracelet to my perlee stack and It’s perfect balancing piece. I didn’t like the price but it’s perfect and worth every penny . This sleeper piece just works so seamless with the Perlees F62C7BCD-5837-4F12-99A7-7F2B7C331987.jpeg

That's a whole stack of heaven there!!
Your new bracelet is one of my favorite pieces that VCA makes.

Stack of heaven. I love that. This Perlee piece is some special. I would like to have another one maybe.

@Missie1 your stack is TDF. I love the sweet clovers piece in particular

Someone needs to add these WG perlee earrings from @diamondseeker2006 to their VCA collection! They are a fabulous saturated turquoise color and below retail!

Btw is anyone here getting or planning to get the newly launched WG Guilloche pieces?
I will be really tempted if Vintage Guilloche & pave bracelet is available….guess it won’t be at least for now!

I was interested in seeing it until someone on other forum said if reminds them of Tiffany silver and now that’s all I see…

I'd love to see it in person and try it on. I think its beautiful in the images. My problem is my wishlist is soooo long, that even if I admire something, I may never work my way down my list far enough to purchase it!

According to my SA (NYC 5th Ave) they were sold out of WG guilloche earrings and twenties by 3:30 today.

Does anyone know if they will be coming out with RG versions of the Guilloche pieces (that aren't special editions)?

I really hope so & I ever asked a couple of SAs but nobody said anything. Currently I am hoping to get that 2 guilloche + 3 carnelian in RG which was released as LE last year (correct me if I am wrong). Rumor says that it will eventually be back as a regular stock in 2024.
I think I will prefer RG guilloche to WG.
Btw I am heading down to see the WG in store tomorrow.

Please please please take some pics for us! I'd love to see it on someone and hear how you think it looks moving and reflecting the light.

Enjoy your trip!

Here to report back from VCA.
Tried on the Guilloche WG. The motifs are highly reflective & glossy & I don’t know why they somehow appear too metallic for my liking? I don’t mean they aren’t beautiful, is just my personal liking & all that…..A52B31A6-4B02-4898-8822-017F26499873.jpeg23459FF6-D19F-41F6-B34E-20A474D94DAD.jpeg

Just realised JUC stacks damn well with the Perlee. Debating should I pull the trigger? Can foresee myself spending Christmas in Ban Island if I really do

Thanks for the pics and info! That's some arm-candy for sure!

The WG Guilloche almost seems too cool (color temperature) on your skin tone. The RG on the other hand looks divine! And I also like the WG blingy bangle on you, for some reason, it doesn't seem as cold as the Guilloché (maybe because of the flashes of fire in the diamonds?)

You are most welcome
Must come back to report if you do get one =)2.
Overall stock level has improved, I did see various 5-motif VA bracelets include a gold guilloche one. Even the sweet Perlee bracelets are available.

Totally agree with you on this.
That WG Perlee Single Row is undoubtedly very pretty on any arm of any skin tone. The WG really enhances the icy white-ness of the DEF diamonds. I wish I can afford to add it to my collection right now!
90% of my non-branded pieces with diamonds are of WG.
For branded without diamonds eg. Bvlgari B Zero-1 & Cartier Love, I somehow prefer RG or YG.
Wait, do I actually mean I like WG only if it’s set with diamond?
:lol::lol::lol:

I think the guilloche is actually a pretty "industrial" design - modern and bold and architectural. Which can work great, but IMO can look out of place when juxtaposed with more feminine designs, even if those designs are from the same brand or collection.

Just my 2c.

Very astute observation!!:appl:

A definite YES!

Maybe that’s why I like it. Have realized that a lot of my arm candy taste runs toward modern and industrial—JUC, Ecrou. But then I’m juxtaposing those with very feminine shapes like the signature perlee and vintage Alhambra so perhaps what I’m finding is that balancing industrial with feminine is more my look? Idk. Hmmm.

It sounds like you’ll be needing to go try some pieces on

What do you think of the new Tiffany Lock? I was actually thinking the WG guilloche might be very striking with the Lock line. I haven’t seen the combo on social media yet though.

Haha you know, I would love to go try some pieces on! Except….next year is a BIG anniversary. And I have been given a tentative thumbs up for an ER upgrade. Tentative because if I don’t keep myself on Ban Island EXCEPT for that, it would need to wait a bit longer. So I am trying to restrain myself. And also hope that the general economy doesn’t crater, etc.

As for the Tiffany Lock, I am not so sure. I did try it on but it was really not a great experience. The SA was one of those who is determined that bracelets should be SUPER small and tight. I, meanwhile, have a wee bit of claustrophobia. Before I try on anything, I want to know how do I get the thing off? And I never really could figure out the lock mechanism (she was not explaining it super well). Then before I was ready, she jams this thing on my arm and locked it. It was way the heck too small and it pinched. And I’m ashamed to say I pretty much had a panic attack and all I could say was get it off get it off. I have no idea how it looked.

Interestingly enough that has been my experience at Tiffany several times now. The Tiffany SAs really seem to want to put me in tight and small bracelets. Cartier SAs are well trained that arms and wrists come in different sizes. Tiffany doesn’t quite seem to get that, or at least the one near me doesn’t. Even when I have asked to see things in larger sizes, they don’t have them or discourage me from trying the larger size. It’s strange. And let me point out, while my wrists are not tiny, I am not a giant. Seven inch bracelets fit me comfortably. But in a bangle I do not want to be squished.

Haha you sound like me! I love a mix of "hard" and "soft" pieces.

If you’re ever in northern Virginia, the Tyson’s area, please visit the Tiffany boutique there! It’s one of the larger standalones and it’s lovely - and no bangle vice fetishes!! That sounds dreadful. I actually know exactly what you mean, as soon as anything goes near the front of my neck my brain short circuits to getitoffgetitoffgetitoff - I could be wearing a million dollar necklace and I’d just be itching to yank it away from my throat.

YES to the ring upgrade taking priority then
