Thanks so much. No, not at all. I got the diamond in Israel and I designed the setting. My local jeweler and I found the side stones together. I wanted to use all princess, and rounds with a cushion center. I didn't want a halo or two huge side stones taking away from the presence of my big beautiful diamond :dance: . So I decided on the two smaller side set princess cuts on each side. I think I ended up with something very special! I was just on vacation in Beverly Hills and picked up a new bracelet and the jewelers there LOVED my ring, and that was the biggest compliment I could have received.

This is an ebay find, 1.23 ct. uncerted, but estimated to be a P/Q by David Klass who just made this white and yellow gold setting for me. This is one of David's glamour shots as the ring hasn't arrived yet.

3.2 ct GIA OMC N VS2 in different lighting
No one has ever remarked on the color, just on the ring itself, which suggests that the diamond looks "white" to most people.
 
I will post my 1.5 carat uncerted 'M' marquise- originally Niel's, then Scarlett had CVB set her in the Chloe. I honestly enjoy this ring so much- I'm definitely her forever home, lol. @apacherose I almost jumped at your ring when it was listed on LT way back when. It is literally one of my favorite rings on PS! But my money tree was not growing and my husband would've killed me, two no bueno strikes. It's beautiful on you, and it has the perfect forever home

Thank you so much, ds! You know how much I adore your collection as well - and now I am saving up for studs which I hope to be a (smaller!) version of yours. I just know if you love something it will be fabulous, lol!

Here is my L VS2 2.63 pear. I had it reset I to a 18 Kt yellow gold bezel this year (from a platinum 6 prong). The girdle on this old stone is very thin and I was starting to get worried. The shank is platinum. The band is pigeon blood rubies in 18 Kt.
