Thanks, DS! My RHR is rose gold too, but I'm actually thinking about selling it . . . I found that it was a little too fancy for daily wear, and to my surprise, I feel like a solitaire fits my lifestyle better.

Thank you Missy! Here is another one of Sam and both my OECs and my old mine cut. I didn't realize there was so much cat hair in my jewelry box until I was looking at the pictures on my computer. Oops! I included that one anyway because it shows the difference in color between my rings (the 3.11 OEC has a GIA report and is O-P color; the OEC surrounded by sapphires is estimated to be K color and the black spots are just a reflection as the clarity is VS2; the mine cut is estimated to be an I color).

My k-l diamond. 1.8 ct but deep cut so she faces up at about 7.5mm. I picked her up for a song out of pawn. She had some weird coating on her that had turned and bubbled. A good boiling and pickling took most of it off. She has a big fisheye/dead spot in some lighting but sparkles in other lighting. Really low quality diamond but I do wear her for fun. she is definitely a "candlelight" type of diamond - lol.She was just so sad looking sitting in pawn all grimy and gross. No matter how many times they cleaned her, she still was cloudy (the coating). I took a chance on her and wa-lah!

love that you took a chance. it's hard to resist "for a song" diamonds that you know could look so much better clean.
