This is my widest band. It‘s pierced and has diamonds in the centers of the flowers..

@maita13 the width of the ring is 10mm, the ring size is 7.5, probably would have fit better on index if it were size 8.

I would say at least one size up depending on your finger. Especially if you want to wear on index finger. My index finger needs about half a size bigger than middle finger. For my ring I’ve only gone up half a size, because I was afraid it’s gonna be too big, which I regret so much... now it barely fits my index finger, luckily I can still wear it on middle finger. And I can’t even adjust the ring size due to the design..

@Mekp, thanks for starting this thread! I’m re-considering (yet again) my alternate ER design because of this thread.

I shelved the wide band idea for my three stone project but am wondering if I was too quick to disregard it. I‘d like to see if any one of you ladies have a wide ER ring you’d like to share on this thread.

I ended up not getting a wide band, but for the longest time I really really wanted this one for my e-ring/wedding set:



It's from Krikawa and it was like, 10mm-wide. But literally every jeweler I showed it to said it'd be "too much" for my fingers, that the details would get lost or look too crowded, and my DH wasn't a huge fun anyways. So in the end, I switched to something sleeker.

I was considering a wide band design for my three stone project, @Mekp but decided against it as it would limit my stacking options. I don’t have much real estate for stacking to begin with. So that was kinda the clincher for me. But who knows? I might change my mind yet again.

PS: I’ve been wanting a change from my usual slim, platinum ring repertoire and bought a cigar band instead to scratch that itch. Waiting for it to arrive but here’s a photo of 6.3mm band.

That is my dream wide band I’ve tried them on before and my fingers are too short
