Show me your Yvonne Raley and Cecile Raley Designs!

I bought a little emerald from Yvonne! I came up with the layout, but she and the rest of the CRD team have executed it perfectly.

My mom died about two weeks ago. I had Yvonne make these earrings for me with my garnet birthstone and my mom's, which was sapphire. Mine is the demantoid in the center, surrounded by her's. They are beautiful! I couldn't get a decent photo, but I have attached Yvonne's, which don't show the sparkle and bright colors. DematoidSapphireEarrings.png

I’m very sorry for your loss.
These earrings are a lovely way to honor your mom’s memory and they are truly gorgeous.

@MrsKMB what a beautiful way to remember your mom, close to your ears to whisper you advice and encouragement.

More goodies from Yvonne. I bought the spinel during one of her holiday sales and wasn't sure it would fit in any of the settings. I also was concerned it might be darker based on some of the photos. But with CRD never fear right? Yvonne customized the setting and the color! OMG just so lovely and never darkens even under cruddy lighting.20200127_204620.jpg20200128_114302.jpg20200127_204545.jpg

I love it! :kiss2:

So many beautiful additions. Thanks everyone for sharing. :)

That is a wonderful tribute/remembrance of your mom, MrsKMB.

Another ring to share from Yvonne and her staff. I purchased the Russian emeralds first, Yvonne suggested the purple sapphire, and then I picked out the pink spinel as the final accent to the Lily ring. It was a nice surprise to see the double miligrain petals around the emeralds. I didn't request it, but she knows I love miligrain and it ended up being the right detail to have for the stone's size and look. It's so colorful and sparkly! :) I have been wanting one of Yvonne's Lily ring for a while. DSC_0019.JPGDSC_0023.JPG

Wow, all those gems glow! Especially the emeralds! What a treat for sore eyes, and congrats on your Lily! You and Yvonne have create something beautiful.

I saw this pop up in her “sold” page and immediately fell in love. I absolutely adore the color combo! Seriously, I can’t get enough of it. It looks awesome on you.

What do you all think of her gem pricing in general. It seems a little high to me?
It really depends on what you get. There is no one vendor who has best price on everything. I find her prices in general pretty low to reasonable considering minimally treated gems, compared against other online retail vendors. For example, I would not compare her unheated sapphire pricing to heated sapphires from Gemfix Finewater Gems, Pristine Gemstones because of the marked difference between heated vs unheated pricing. A lot of vendors will claim untreated and offer better prices, but with Yvonne and the recommended PS vendors I believe it to be true. She is a very ethical person, and as a customer trust, knowledge, experience is worth something in the customer jeweler relationship.

I totally agree with your comment that Yvonne's price is low to reasonable. I have bought a few gems from her. For roughly the same price, her gems are generally "better." The gems that she sourced on location are definitely deals as she passes on the savings.

Just in: red spinel cab Camellia with lavender sapphire and white diamonds, and a marquis paraiba petal ring with marquis Brazilian paraiba, Mozambique paraiba and African pink sapphire melee. I also got a Snowflake ring with tiny alexandrites and sapphires, but will wait until I can photo the color change before posting.

Hehe, it's hard not to show off paraibas. They're just so beautiful and joyous to me. I made it a pinky ring since it's small, and my fingers are large compared to the PS average and certainly compared to yours, I think.

Sure, you can be first on the list if I ever decide to sell my spinel cab ring. This was my first cab that I've set with a halo, and I plan to enjoy it for a good while yet. :cool2:

Finally took pictures of my Snowflake ring from Yvonne. I can only afford these small alexandrites. I chose blue sapphire for the even smaller melee, because I thought they go with both the teal and purple colors.

Here's my "forget me not" ring that's coming. I'll post pics when it arrives. Colors look very bright and saturated in the pic! All sapphires

@Bonsai I love the melee in those petals! It's such a dainty version of the ring!

@Bonsai I love the teal saphires, and the contrast between the blues in your ring!

I love them both but that super gemmy red spinel cab...delicious! I love that you paired it with the lavender sapphire. It pairs so beautifully.

I love how you paired the colors on this one. It’s a beauty!

Picked it up and here it is in different lightings. I love it. Only problem is I am going to want to buy more lol. I love the detail work in the gold most. Most of my other rings are solitaire types. Some with scroll work and filigree so this is a nice addition to the collection. Only thing I need now is something with bright orange, pink and turquoise.

I am so excited! Got an email from Yvonne today that the earrings are ready. I wanted the colors to be similar to the stained glass window where I sit at my church. I can’t wait to get them! These are medium Lily.DA94A42E-34CE-4B2D-B43F-0A34447EFAAB.pngF1672F80-FBC7-43C9-8DAD-3C67C1FC8DE6.png7C7A820C-44AE-401C-9583-46A118BB34F7.png42A16497-07B8-4DC0-9349-7323DEC40BEA.pngBC94470E-E795-4C91-9F2F-AF8CA9CC0A79.png

Those earrings are just stunning, @KristinTech ! The vivid colors and fine details in the setting are perfection :-)

This is the band off my lily ring. I was surprised at how thin it was. I've worn it no more than 3-4 times and less than 4 hours a time and the band is already thinning in a spot. It's less than 1 mm wide and thick. Is this standard on her designs? I am thinking it will not last.

I would reach out to Yvonne over this issue for sure. I've bought a lot of rings from her over the years and have never run into a problem with the sturdiness of the bands,

If there is a workmanship issue she should be willing to make it right with you.

Are your bands fro her this thin? I'm wondering if its a mistake or they are usually that thin. I'm still waiting on the GAL cert that was supposed to come with the stone as well

Since I sold my Lily ring awhile ago, I checked the stats on a small Lily ring listed on Yvonne's
Etsy page. The listing stated that the band is 2 mm but tapers slightly in the back.

I wear her stacking rings all of the time and they probably have the thinnest bands at 1.4 mm. I've had no problems with them holding up to daily wear.

I'd certainly ask her to send the GAL cert, that was probably an oversight.

Yeah this seems thinner than the stack rings at the small point. the top by the flower is a good 2+ mm wide, only about 1 thick. Here is the bottom of the band.
I think its too thin? IMG_9600.jpg
