Love love love your set!

I have a new addition to my growing DK Collection. I wanted a ”frame” to complement the GIA natural fancy brown rosecut ring I had made late last year. I figured if I had a ring guard made, it might as well be designed to be worn with my DK solitaire and 5 stone rings.

I wanted a pop of shine but nothing that would distract from the rosecut diamond. To add a little edginess, I decided to use inverted natural black diamonds.

What a fabulous idea! So creative and beautifully executed by DK. It goes with EVERYTHING.
Now I want one.

That is really clever! Can you also post photos of it with the 5 stone and the solitaire?

Oh my freaking lord, this is next level artistic vision. Of course the execution is amazing - but the idea is just brilliant and it looks just incredible!

Thank you! I have been wearing the ring guard by itself, with the rosecut diamond ring and the 5 stone. It’s a versatile design for sure.

I am sorry for the delay!

I am really happy how it pairs with the 5 stone ring since I don’t want bands rubbing next to the very detailed gallery.

I don’t think it’s as successful paired with the solitaire because of the diameter of the halo overpowers it. I love the ring guard concept enough to consider making another with the solitaire in mind but also able to pair it with other rings.

An unforeseen bonus is how I love the ring guard worn by itself! I can also slip in some of my 2MM wide eternity bands for a different look.

Beautiful! I agree, the solitaire overpowers it a bit, but it still works. And adding the band is a bonus! Great job.

My new ring arrived yesterday!
First up, my crap phone pics, and DK's glamour shots.

Sapphire is from Jeff White, just shy of 2 carats, 7.28mm round, in a platinum setting. Finger size 8.5.

2 ct. spinel with .60ctw diamond sides. Size 4..75 (loose on my finger). I had David add beading on the knife edge shank after the photos. I love it!

I should have posted this little dog paw pendant that DK made for me.

And he added a few small diamonds to this vintage chain for me.

This is a beautiful five stone!! Love those sapphires.

Here is mine - a natural 1.54ct brown-yellow marquise in 18ct YG:

My friend then saw mine and wanted one similar, haha! It took me a few months to source the right stone but here it is - a 1.62ct lab old-style moval, also in 18ct. Being colourless and a moval rather than a marquise, the look up close is quite different but with the same aesthetic and beautiful hand presence :)

Thanks! I got them a while back from Desert Rose on IG with the intention of making simple earring studs, but they were so sparkly, I wanted to look at them :-)

So beautiful! I've never really "got" the idea of marquise shape, but yours and your friend's have totally changed my mind! So sleek and flowy.

My 1st! They took an antique early 1900s brooch and made it into a ring. He added beads for my hard to fit hands and it's very comfortable. Also replaced one diamond that was missing.
