When we were searching for the perfect stone, it was difficult at first, having not seen a variety of different color graded stones before. Looking at so many gave me a better idea of what I wanted exactly. I found that I had a misconception about near colorless stones, having previously thought they would "look yellowy & ugly" when in the end I found that they were exactly what I had wanted all along. They just look so beautiful with that subtle hint of warmth! My favorite color being I.

I thought it would be nice to start a thread with pictures of all of your beautiful H,I & J colored diamonds to see if it might help anyone out who is currently looking to buy, but hasn''t seen a variety of near colorless stones yet. Thanks everyone! I can''t wait to check them out

The color is hard to see in pictures, but my engagement ring stone is an I:

And my bezel pendant stone is a J:

Here's mine! I may be biased

but I don't think she looks yellow at all! Plus, bf set her in rose gold so I didn't really care to have a colorless diamond since it will most likely pick up the pink from the setting.

GIA Cert.
Cut: Excellent
Color: I
Clarity: VVS2

Good thread! I have H-I coloured side stones on my e-ring. Because the center stone is an M the sides look very very white.

I''ve been visiting local jewlers lately and can''t belive what snobs some of them are about lower colours. One told me not to look at K coloured stones because they are "almost brown".....ummm.......NO. Another refuses to stock anything below J.

My I ACA.

Here are my ACA studs, one G, one H, I have no idea which is which. (maybe the right one is the H?) 1.16 ctw This isn''t the "prettiest" pic, but I chose it because it is showing the body color better.

Blackberry, your ring is gorgeous, I love the setting. It is very romantic in my eyes... Totally eye catching!

This is a ring I used to have. It was a 1.57 "J" VVS1 in a tension setting by PUR of Germany that was custom made in 2001. The metal is rose gold. Really hefty ring. The ring was sold when my previous marriage ended. I miss the setting. It is really one of a kind.

and sideways - such an earthy setting somehow, very fluid, it felt and looked like liquid gold.

All stunning!

Here is my 2.00ct J VS1 radiant... the pic was taken at night, indoor lighting. You can probably see a bit of body color. GIA cert. Enjoy!

For comparison, here''s my ring under natural daylight/sunlight. No fluorescence. You can see how bright white it appears. I love it!
