Salty, I think it''s just a matter of taste and what you like. Scarlet, those are absolutely beautiful! What a special gift.

Here are ours, they''re from Lenox. I got them from ebay fairly cheap and I thought it would be nice as something to pass down to our children. I like the heart shape that the base forms around the crystal.

We did not get special toasting flutes. I already have a set of beautiful lead crystal flutes, and I did not want to use those and have to remember to get them back. Our venue had some lovely simple flutes for everyone, and we just used those. As for buying special ones, I didn''t think it was worth the expense; it just wasn''t important to us.

Here were ours: Swarovski Toasting Flutes (a total extravagence, but a gift from my parents... )

And here they are (well one of them) in action.. I super duper heart them:

I haven''t picked anything out yet but I''ve seen the Swarovski Toasting Flutes in person and I really LOVED them! Unfortunately, pricey. Those Nambe ones I will be looking up though!

We used the Swarovski toasting flutes which I love. My husband actually bought them for us to toast on our engagement night, so it was really special to use them for our wedding.

I LOVE the Swarovski flutes. They are so glittery and gorgeous!

At my 1st wedding I got some beautiful crystal flutes with doves on the stems [which I used to drink my Champagne which was free flowing for all that wanted it]. I think the flutes are at my parent's house up north [and my parents are at the house down south so I can't call to ask what make they are or get them to take pics]. If I get up there in the next few days I'll take some pics [or at least find the manufacturer].

We did not have special flutes for my 2nd wedding. It was free flowing wine, beer, drinks and Champagne so there was no toast.

I know, I am not helping . . . [just like the cats . . .]

Is this cheating: We didn't have a reception as we eloped? These are the glasses DH bought me for this year.

I have been looking for what I view as the more classic shape champagne glass and I am in love with these ones!

Folks say the bubbles dissipate faster, but what the hay, they are glamorous!

[Ignore the cheap plonk!]

And YES, that is my other man, Henry eyeballing dinner in the background!

Here are mine. My mom gave them to us as an engagement gift...
