Wow I need to get a more saturated spess!!! I have been eyeing one from Little 3 Mine with great color. NKOTB your reds are stunning. I like all the different settings.

Here is my 2 ct Loliondo spes and spinel ring that has been misplaced somewhere in my house. So I have to use this unclear pic. Some 5mm cushions and some cute beads. I set this ring before I realized Orange doesn't look great with my coloring. Next orange project will need to be haloed

Acinom I envy your stacker. I want to put my 5mm cushions in stackers

NKOTB and lilmosun I love your plans for your spes rings. Can't wait to see them

Yennyfire I love the rainbow cabs!!!

You ladies have such juicy, orange gems! Yummy!!!

Here is my contribution- a more orange than yellow citrine photographed in horrible bathroom lighting.

I so love all today's orange!

What would be the most affordable orange stone?

When KaeKae asked about affordable orange gems I remembered I had a few more. A 3 carat Sphalerite from Spain, an Orangy sapphire pear and a round grossular garnet from Canada. All three look horrendous on my hand but they are all very pretty. Gossular garnet from Canada is inexpensive as you can see from the gem box. But I've never seen one set and have now idea how I would do it to make the most if it's unique color. sphalerite is also very affordable but very soft and can not be used for rings I'm planning on a pendant

 Beautiful! What a fun thread.

I have two orange examples. A pendant that was a gift to me of Montana sapphires set in yellow gold and a Malaya garnet faceted by Gene and set in silver.

Gonna be a bright, briiiight sunshiny day! :)

Ungraded diamond, likely somewhere near the end of the alphabet, and a chrysoberyl. Overcast morning light, and bathroom lighting.

You're killing me LD. I may very well expire from jealousy! :Up_to_something:
Those cuprians...I just can't stand all that gorgeous color, on your hand. It must weigh a ton. I can take some off your hands for you. :naughty:

I love yellow. So happy to see your sunny yellow gems: Acinom's famous Danburite and Ricezo's famous chryso! I love the double halo NKOTB. I can't wear yellow without a lot of diamonds or metal between me and the stone. Below is my modest collection - inexpensive learner stones that likely won't be set left to right: Danburite (tanzania) from a gem show, Sri lank an zircon from Facebook auction, yellow chryso from TGT and a nice colored but windowed tanzanian chryso. Also a pair of imperial topaz earrings

My tulips this year were white, pale yellow and yellowy Orange. Always wanted to do a cluster ring or or pendant with these colors. The yellow tomato is Snow White and she is the sweetest in my garden this year

My HG yellow would be a chryso the color of Ricezo's or a light buttery yellow sapphire with no brown

Keep these yellows coming

Oww, I wish you could AussieJamie

NKOTB: oh my!!! Two stunning pieces. You have such a dream collection. How will you set the chryso?

LD!!! That is what we call a blue and green collection. Please come on green, blue and Indigo day :D

Sungura: thank you for your kind words.
I love your yellow collection with the beautiful gems. What a pity you will not set them.

Bah! Another thread I wish I could participate in!

This thread is so fun!

Loving your yellows, junebug and kaekae!

Thanks for the compliments, lovedogs and Acinom! Acinom, I keep changing my mind on how to set the chryso, to be honest. It was initially going into a simple green gold milgrain bezel ring. Then a halo with bright white diamonds. Then, after the Niel/ricezo ring, a three stone. I want to punch out the colour as much as possible. I have about 4 projects ahead of it in line, so I have some time to think about it. ;)

And LD, the envy level is off the radar at this point!

Another color that doesn't go well with my skin tone (although today's posts are making me wish otherwise).

I have a tiny lemon yellow sapphire, a few yellow garnets and a yellow zircon unset. Below is my chryso - bright yellow in sunlight but green-yellow as shown in the picture in other.

Gorgeous yellows everyone!
KaeKae: what a beautiful ring! I love how the stone is framed with delicate milgrain
Junebug: I have always loved that ring! What a luxurious feel to have a yellow diamond.
userang: gorgeous color! The setting is perfect for that beautiful diamond.
NKOTB: looking forward to see your 4 projects!!
lilmosun: what a stunning color! Do you have a thread for this beautiful ring?

In the meantime a new day has begin and the sky is coloring an emerald green...
It's green Wednesday!!!

Blues and greens seems to be the popular colors on PS.
Who does not covet a luscious green emerald? But as it is hard to find an (affordable) emerald, a beautiful green tsavorite or green tourmaline can be a great alternative.
