Looks great! I have loosely followed the threads, what was the final total if you don't mind sharing? Looks like so much more than his budget...

It stayed right around 700 which was the budget so that's good.

Ha! From all indications it fits. When I lay it in the setting its ever so slightly crooked. I can't lay it flat. So I believe it'll fit well. Its going to be set today so I'll report back.

Took it to get set. Said it'll fit fine. I asked them to claw the prongs. Well see if they do.

Came back today. Claws were not as clawy as my PS standards would want but I'm sure she won't even notice lol.

Pics are pretty bad sense its so gloomy today. But I showed someone already and they thought it was a diamond. Lol.

I'm excited about it so I'll have to show the pictures I could get. Its dark out and I'm at work so its dim office lights. Brings out the orange but I think still the saturation looks nice. She works in a department store so shell have better lighting

I want to do a SMTB thread when its sunny. So what, April?

Ha! Thanks. I've been saying there on there way back over in RT for a bit now. I don't think anyone believes me

When I first started my hunt she was going to get an eBay marquise like mine (I had found mine for only slighted over his original budget believe it or not) but I could well her on them coming back. Haha! Plus she's more unique. Colored stones were just perfect for her!

For fun I had been looking for wedding bands on Etsy. Found an engraved gold band plus a cool men's titanium that would make their whole wedding set under 1k

Haha I'm just having fun at this point, but I'll still probably show them my findings Haha

Ask my BIL. I think its a Christmas gift though. Now I understand how these guys that come here feel! She doesn't know what it looks like exactly so I just sent to see her reaction to it.

But this experience has me pretty attached to the idea of having some a colored stone ring Haha
