You might also want to share what the cost of having this re-made would be. It's hard to comparison-shop such a rare piece, and also hard to guess at what stones of that size would cost.

This looks like a top full retail price...the GIA 3ex D VVS1-IF for 0.23-0.24ct on bluenile is around $740-$980 each, can't say how much you paid for it to get custom made since no pic.
