Reporting back on my $1100/ct parcel from fancy_colored diamonds on IG. I did not see them loose but here we are set. They are really clean and really white. That said they aren't the huge puffy hated fellows you see in vintage sets, but they flash that same light pattern.

Most of these taken by west facing open window on a sunny afternoon.

I hope you’re enjoying your new band CSpan! The setting is a great idea - the security of channel set but with some extra light entry through the sides of the setting. The size looks great with your engagement ring too.
