Small things that make you happy!

We live very close to an extremely large parkland and the birds that visit are just stunning . They often use our pool to bathe along with loving our seed stand, I only use seeds that are appropriate for their consumption.

We have a family of ducks that use our pool and it’s lovely to see them coming back each year, it gives me such joy. Although when it’s swimming time for us my husband spends hours testing & treating the water.

I love the change of seasons, watching the trees change along with the sky, weather and all the dynamics the seasons bring.

Mother Nature is miraculous, I truly hope we take a concerted effort on a global front and look after our environment!!

A good hair day with my fine, low porosity wavy hair that is prone to the frizzies. Especially since my newish hairdresser (whom I've since divorced) wacked off 6 inches and layered the hell out of it, despite my asking for a trim. Just a little bitter LOL.

I have been with my hairdresser since 2006, and there are 2 other cutters in the same salon who can cut my hair, being very strong, straight and a double crown!

Gents don't get it why ladies don't like to change their cutters/stylists/colourists!

Hi,

I just love seeing my indoor plants bloom. I have no idea what they are but each morning I see red blooms all over one, and yellow blooms over the other. They go away in the summer and bloom indoors in the winter. They were a gift, and do make me smile. I have often thought I would like to run a nursery so I could be around flowers much of the time.

I have had the same hairstylist for 56 years! Have only had my hair done twice in all that time by someone else. He recently had to retire due to long covid and just passed away a few weeks ago. Heart broken He has been there for every major milestone in my life.
I did switch to the woman he trained when he retired but still can’t believe he is gone.

Peanut brittles, a particular brand made in USA, nothing else hit the mark!

I ate a box when I was in Arizona earlier this year, bought a box back and it has finished.

Although I can get them in UK, it is double the price and I can't justify spending 40 GBP on a box!
