This is a good one! Enjoying my favorite beer FAT TIRE just before walking down the aisle. I'm in our friend's Coachman RV, which was parked out behind the winery building and served as my hideout before the ceremony.

ELLE- Our wedding was held at a small family-run winery (Frangipani Estate Winery) in Temecula, CA. It''s only been open since first of this year, and we''re their 2nd wedding. We took a huge chance when we booked them in January that their plans would come together. The place had no landscaping- it was all dirt, and the vines were so wee- just up to our ankles. My, what a difference 8 months makes!

HAIR- Freddie works at Golden Touch Salon on Friars Road (just down the street from Fashion Valley). I just googled it and their number is (619) 296-7800. Just be prepared for the salon- it's a bit chaotic, and his space is...unique. He has a flat screen set up at his station and watches movies while he works. He's a bit surly, but deep down is really a teddy bear!

MAKEUP- I went with Ashley Connor. I don't have her contact info with me (i'm out of town). She's a total sweetie, and really works with you to get the look you want.

Here's a GREAT way to get the scoop on Freddie, and Ashley's contact info. The following website was INVALUABLE to me: http://www.bridalinsider.com/ There's a ton of vendor info, and the San Diego forums are VERY active. The gals there are GREAT!

You have to sign up to gain access to the forums, but once you do you can use the search tool to find out about Freddie (do "golden touch freddie"). Ashley's info is listed in the vendor section under ACMakeup (tell her that Sandi referred you!)

Thanks so much for the info! The part about Freddie watching movies while he works cracks me up. I was hoping for someone who could travel to the hotel, though. I''m guessing that no one would travel for such a reasonable price. I am a huge moneysaver but I worry about the logistics and stress for me of traveling too much that day.

bridalinsider is great - I''m just starting to plan, except for the venue which I booked this summer. Everything else is really booking up though (for next July), so I''m feeling the pressure!
